3. Setup Guide
3.1. Battery and SD Card Installation
The camera is powered by a built-in 2600mAh rechargeable battery and can be supplemented by 4 AA batteries (not included) for backup. A 32GB Micro SD card is pre-installed, supporting up to 256GB.
- Open the camera housing.
- Ensure the pre-installed 32GB Micro SD card is securely in its slot. The camera supports up to 256GB Micro SD cards.
- Insert 4 AA batteries (optional, for backup power) into the designated battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the camera housing securely to maintain its IP66 waterproof rating.

3.2. Initial Power On and Test Mode
Before deployment, it is recommended to set up the camera in 'TEST' mode to configure settings and verify functionality.
- Switch the camera to the 'TEST' position. The screen will activate.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Wireless Connection via App
The XTU Trail Camera can be connected to your smartphone via WiFi and Bluetooth using the "TrailCam Go" app (available for iOS and Android).
- Download and install the "TrailCam Go" app on your smartphone.
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
- Open the "TrailCam Go" app and follow the prompts to connect to the camera's built-in WiFi/Bluetooth. The WiFi connection range is up to 49 feet.
- Once connected, you can preview images/videos, download media, shoot photos/videos remotely, and adjust camera settings directly from the app.
