Important Safety Instructions

Assembly

Attaching the Casters

The shop vacuum comes with 360° rubberized non-marring casters for easy maneuverability. Securely attach the casters to the base of the vacuum using the provided hardware.

Connecting the Hose and Attachments

Connect the 1-7/8"x7' hose to the quick connect locking vacuum port on the front of the unit. Select the appropriate extension wands and nozzles for your cleaning task and attach them to the end of the hose.

Wet Vacuuming

For wet pickup, ensure the foam filter is installed. The vacuum is equipped with a float switch that automatically shuts off suction when the liquid level reaches its maximum capacity, preventing overflow.

Maintenance

Filter Cleaning and Replacement

The washable cartridge filter can be easily removed by twisting to unlock, pulling it off, cleaning, and locking it back in place. Emptying the Tank

The 5-gallon tank is designed for easy emptying. Unlatch the durable large lid latches, remove the motor head, and dispose of collected debris. For wet messes, simply pour out the liquid. For dry debris collected in a dust bag, carefully remove and discard the bag.

Troubleshooting

If your DEWALT STEALTHSONIC Shop Vacuum is not performing as expected, consider the following common issues:

• No Suction or Reduced Suction: Check if the hose is securely connected to the vacuum port and attachments. Inspect the hose, wands, and nozzles for any blockages. Ensure the filter is clean and properly installed. For wet pickup, verify the foam filter is not saturated or clogged. For dry pickup, check if the cartridge filter is clean and the dust bag (if used) is not full.
