4.2 Automatic Brightness Adjustment

The clock features a built-in light sensor that automatically adjusts the display brightness to one of three levels based on the ambient light conditions:

4.3 Memory Function

The clock includes a memory function, powered by a CR2032 battery (located in the battery compartment on the back of the clock). This feature ensures that your time settings are preserved in the event of a power outage, so you do not need to reset the time when power is restored.

5. Maintenance

To maintain your XUANZIT LED Digital Wall Clock, follow these guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the clock's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the display or casing.
  • Battery Replacement (Memory Function): The CR2032 battery for the memory function typically lasts for an extended period. If the clock consistently loses time settings after a power interruption, the CR2032 battery may need replacement. To replace, open the battery compartment on the back of the clock and insert a new CR2032 battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  • Power Cable: Ensure the USB power cable is not bent, twisted, or placed under heavy objects to prevent damage.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your XUANZIT LED Digital Wall Clock, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Clock does not turn on:
    • Ensure the USB power cable is securely connected to both the clock and the power adapter.
    • Verify that the power adapter is firmly plugged into a working electrical outlet.
    • Test the outlet with another device to confirm it is supplying power.
  • Time is incorrect or not keeping accurate time:
    • Ensure the clock is continuously powered. If power was interrupted, the memory function should restore the time.
    • If the time is consistently lost after power interruptions, the CR2032 memory battery may need replacement (refer to Section 5. Maintenance).
  • Auto-brightness fluctuates or is too sensitive:
    • The light sensor is designed to react to ambient light changes. Ensure the sensor (small dot on the top right of the clock face) is not obstructed.
    • In environments with rapidly changing light, minor fluctuations may occur. If persistent, consider adjusting the placement of the clock or the lighting in the room.
  • Cannot switch between 12/24-hour format:
    • Ensure you are pressing the correct button on the back of the clock for time format adjustment.
