1. Introduction
The Ajazz AK870 is a versatile 87-key TKL (Tenkeyless) wireless gaming keyboard designed for optimal performance and user customization. It features a gasket-mounted structure, hot-swappable switches, and multi-mode connectivity, making it suitable for various operating systems and usage scenarios. The integrated TFT display screen and knob provide intuitive control over keyboard settings and visual feedback.

3. Setup
3.1. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the keyboard using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the USB-C end to the keyboard's port and the USB-A end to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter). The screen will indicate charging status.
3.2. Connectivity Modes
The Ajazz AK870 supports three connectivity modes: Wired (USB-C), 2.4GHz Wireless, and Bluetooth 5.0. A switch located on the back of the keyboard allows selection between these modes.
- Wired Mode: Connect the keyboard directly to your device using the USB-C cable. Ensure the mode switch is set to 'USB'.
- 2.4GHz Wireless Mode: Insert the 2.4GHz USB dongle (located in the storage slot on the back of the keyboard) into your device's USB port. Set the mode switch to '2.4G'. The keyboard should automatically connect.
- Bluetooth Mode: Set the mode switch to 'BT'. The keyboard will enter pairing mode. On your device, search for Bluetooth devices and select 'Ajazz AK870' to pair. The keyboard supports up to three Bluetooth devices (FN+Q/W/E to switch between paired devices).

3.3. Operating System Compatibility
Use the 'Win/Mac' switch on the back of the keyboard to select the appropriate operating system layout for optimal key mapping.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Screen and Knob Functions
The 1.06-inch TFT display screen and rotary knob provide quick access to various settings:
- Knob Rotation: Adjusts volume by default. Can be customized for other functions via software.
- Knob Press: Mutes/unmutes audio by default. Can be customized.
- Screen Display: Shows date, time, battery status, connectivity mode, operating system, and backlight effects. Customizable visuals (GIFs) can be uploaded via software.

4.2. RGB Backlighting
The keyboard features 16.8 million color RGB backlighting with south-facing LEDs. Adjust lighting effects using FN key combinations or the dedicated software.
- FN + ↑/↓: Adjust backlight brightness.
- FN + +/-: Adjust backlight speed.
- FN + →: Switch light color.
- FN + X: Turn ON/OFF light color.
4.3. Hot-Swappable Switches
The Ajazz AK870 supports hot-swappable 3/5-pin switches, allowing users to easily change mechanical switches without soldering. Use the provided keycap puller and switch puller (if included) to remove and replace switches.

4.4. Programmable Software Support
Advanced customization, including key remapping, macro creation, and detailed lighting control, can be accessed via the dedicated Ajazz software. The software also allows for uploading custom GIFs to the TFT screen.

5. Maintenance
5.1. Cleaning
To clean the keyboard, disconnect it from all power sources. Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid excessive moisture. For keycaps, use the provided keycap puller to remove them and clean separately. Compressed air can be used to remove debris from between keys.
5.2. Storage
Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan.
