4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the kettle and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with water to the MAX line, boil it, and then discard the water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
3. Power Connection: Locate the hidden power socket on the kettle. Connect the power cord securely to the kettle and then plug it into a suitable electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Fill the Kettle: Open the lid and fill the kettle with fresh water. Ensure the water level is between the MIN and MAX indicators inside the kettle. Do not overfill.
2. Close the Lid: Securely close the lid. The kettle is designed to be leak-proof, but ensure the lid is properly sealed.
3. Select Temperature: Press the power button (⏻) to turn on the kettle. The HD LCD screen will display the current water temperature. Repeatedly press the power button to cycle through the 4 preset temperature modes:
   • 113°F (45°C): Ideal for warming milk.
   • 175°F (80°C): Suitable for various teas.
   • 195°F (90°C): Perfect for coffee.
   • 212°F (100°C): For boiling water.
4. Start Heating: Once your desired temperature is selected, the kettle will begin heating. The display will show the water temperature increasing.
5. Automatic Shut-Off & Keep-Warm: The kettle will automatically shut off once the target temperature is reached. If 212°F is selected, the kettle will then automatically switch to a keep-warm function, maintaining the temperature at approximately 130°F for up to 12 hours.
6. Pouring: Carefully pour the hot water. Avoid opening the lid immediately after boiling due to steam pressure.

• Cleaning: Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. The interior can be hand washed with mild soap and water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
• Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. To descale, fill the kettle with a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar (or a commercial descaling solution). Let it soak for 30 minutes to an hour, then boil the mixture. Discard the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly several times with fresh water.
• Storage: Store the kettle in a dry place when not in use. Ensure the power cord is neatly stored in its hidden compartment.
