Setup and Assembly
Your Dirt Devil Full-Size Carpet Cleaner comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to prepare your machine for first use.
1. Handle Assembly
- Insert the upper handle into the main body of the cleaner until it clicks securely into place.
- Ensure the handle is firmly attached before proceeding.
2. Filling the Clean Water Tank
The machine features a dual tank system for clean and dirty water.
- Remove the clean water tank from the machine.
- Unscrew the cap and fill the tank with warm tap water up to the indicated fill line.
- Add the recommended amount of Dirt Devil carpet cleaning solution (e.g., AD31926 Pet Carpet Cleaner Solution) to the tank. Refer to the solution bottle for exact measurements.
- Securely replace the cap and reinsert the clean water tank into the machine until it locks into position.

1. Preparing the Area
- Vacuum the carpet thoroughly to remove loose dirt and debris.

2. Selecting a Cleaning Mode
Your carpet cleaner offers two cleaning modes:

3. Cleaning Your Carpet
- Plug the machine into a grounded outlet.
- Press the power button to turn on the cleaner.
- To dispense cleaning solution, press the trigger on the handle while pushing the machine forward slowly over the carpet.
- Release the trigger and pull the machine backward slowly over the same area to extract the dirty solution.
- Overlap passes slightly to ensure complete coverage.
- Continue cleaning in sections until the entire area is complete or the clean water tank is empty.
- For heavily soiled areas or pet stains, repeat passes as necessary. The powerful extraction and antimicrobial brush roll are designed to lift tough dirt and stains.

Maintenance and Cleaning
