2. Setup
Follow these steps to properly install your mcdodo 15W MagSafe Car Mount Charger:
- Assemble the Mount: Snap the ball head of the air vent mount into the socket on the back of the wireless charging body. Tighten the rotating chuck nut to secure it.
- Adjust the Hook: Rotate the tail hook nut to adjust the length of the tail hook to match your car's air vent slat thickness.
- Attach to Air Vent: Carefully insert the double hook into an air vent slat. Ensure it hooks securely onto the slat. Push the mount firmly into place and lock it tightly by rotating the chuck nut.
- Connect Power: Pull out the built-in retractable USB-C cable from the charger. Connect the USB-C end to a compatible car charger or power supply port in your vehicle. Ensure the power source provides sufficient output for 15W wireless charging.

3. Operating Instructions
Once installed and powered, the charger is ready for use:
- Attaching Your Phone: Simply place your MagSafe-compatible iPhone (12 series or newer) directly onto the magnetic charging surface. The strong magnets will securely hold your phone in place. For other wirelessly charged phones without MagSafe, attach a metal ring (not included) to your phone or case to enable magnetic attachment.
- Wireless Charging: The charger will automatically begin 15W wireless charging upon phone attachment, indicated by your phone's charging icon.
- Retractable Cable Usage: To use the built-in Type-C cable for wired charging or data transfer, gently pull the cable out to the desired length (up to 25.59 inches/65 cm). To retract, gently pull the cable approximately 1 cm further, and it will automatically retract into the unit.
- Adjusting Viewing Angle: The charger features a 360-degree rotation capability. Adjust your phone's position horizontally or vertically for optimal viewing while driving.

4. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the charger. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Tightening: It is recommended to re-tighten the air vent clip once every two weeks to ensure it remains stable and secure, especially after prolonged use or driving on rough roads.
- Cable Care: When retracting the cable, ensure it is not twisted or obstructed to prevent damage to the retraction mechanism.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the charger to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for extended periods, or high humidity, as this may affect performance and longevity.
