5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your strobe light:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the strobe light and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Mounting: The adjustable bracket allows for versatile mounting. Secure the light to a stable surface such as a wall, ceiling, or lighting stand using appropriate hardware (not included). Ensure the mounting point can support the weight of the fixture.
  3. Positioning: Adjust the angle of the light using the side knobs on the bracket to direct the light as desired.
  4. Power Connection: Connect the provided power cable to the 'POWER' input on the rear of the unit, then plug it into a suitable electrical outlet.
  5. Remote Control: Ensure the remote control has working batteries. If not, insert or replace them according to the markings inside the battery compartment.

The jindaaudio 288 LED Strobe Light offers multiple operating modes and effects:

6.1 Power On/Off

Once connected to power, the unit will power on. Use the power button on the remote control or the main power switch (if available) to turn the light on or off.

6.2 Operating Modes

The light supports various modes, selectable via the control panel on the unit or the remote control:

  • RGB Mode: Displays static colors or color combinations.
  • Remote Mode: Controlled entirely by the included remote control.
  • DMX512 Mode: For professional control via a DMX controller. Connect DMX IN/OUT ports to your DMX system. Refer to the DMX channel chart (if provided separately) for specific controls.
  • AUTO Mode: Cycles through pre-programmed light shows automatically.
  • Sound-Activated Mode: The light reacts to music or sound, changing patterns and colors in sync with the beat.
  • Master/Slave Mode: Link multiple units together. One unit acts as the 'Master' controlling other 'Slave' units for synchronized effects.

7. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your strobe light:

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the cooling fan and ventilation openings remain clear of dust and debris. Use compressed air to gently clear any blockages if necessary.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the light in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Inspection: Periodically check the power cable and DMX connections for any signs of damage. If any damage is found, discontinue use and contact customer support.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your strobe light, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
