4. Setup and Operation
4.1 Wire Installation (Flux Core MIG)
- Open the side panel of the welder.
- Place the 1 LB flux core wire spool onto the spindle. Ensure the spool lock spring and spacer are correctly positioned.
- Thread the wire through the wire feeder mechanism. Ensure the drive roller's "0.8" marking faces outward for 0.8mm wire.
- Close the side panel.

4.2 MIG Torch and Ground Clamp Installation
- Connect the MIG torch to the designated MIG interface on the front panel.
- Plug the torch's power cable into the 2-pin socket.
- Connect the ground clamp into the positive terminal.
Note: Incorrect installation will prevent the machine from arcing.

4.3 Operating Modes (3-IN-1 Functionality)
The FEIFANKE MIG135-110V supports three welding processes:
- MIG (Gasless Flux Core): Ideal for general repair work and thin materials. Uses flux-cored wire without external shielding gas.
- ARC (MMA/Stick): Suitable for welding carbon and stainless steel (1mm to 5mm). Compatible with 3/32'' welding rods.
- Lift TIG: Provides precise welding for various metals. (TIG torch not included, sold separately).

Figure 4.4: The dual torch interface allows for quick switching between MIG and MMA/TIG modes without changing guns, enhancing efficiency.
4.4 Synergic Control and Parameter Adjustment
The synergic control feature intelligently matches the voltage and automatically adjusts the wire feeding speed based on the current setting (30-135A). This simplifies setup and ensures optimal welding parameters.
- Step 1: Press the parameter adjustment knob to select the desired welding mode (MIG, ARC, or Lift TIG).
- Step 2: Rotate the parameter adjustment knob to fine-tune the current (30-135A). The machine will recommend a suitable plate thickness based on your settings.
The large digital panel provides clear readings for welding mode, automatic rod diameter, automatic plate thickness, input voltage, digital display of current, and the parameter knob.

4.5 ARC Welding Performance Features
For ARC welding, the machine incorporates advanced features for a smoother and more stable arc:
- Hot Start: Provides an initial boost of current to ensure easy arc ignition.
- VRD (Voltage Reduction Device): Reduces open-circuit voltage for increased safety.
- ARC Force: Prevents the electrode from sticking and maintains arc stability.
- Anti-Stick: Automatically reduces current if the electrode sticks, allowing for easy removal.
