Setup and First Use

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the iron from its packaging. Remove any protective films or stickers from the soleplate.
  2. Water Filling: Ensure the iron is unplugged. Open the water filling inlet and fill the water tank with tap water up to the 'MAX' level indicator. Do not overfill. For areas with hard water, consider using a mix of tap water and distilled water (50/50).
  3. First Heating: Plug the iron into a suitable mains socket. Set the temperature dial to the maximum setting. Allow the iron to heat up completely. During the first use, a slight odor or smoke may be emitted; this is normal and will disappear after a short period.
  4. Initial Steam Burst: To clean the steam vents, press the steam boost button a few times over an old cloth. This helps remove any manufacturing residues.
