4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the alarm clock.
- Open the cover by sliding it down or lifting it.
- Insert two (2) 1.5V AA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Setting the Current Time
- Locate the time setting knob on the back of the clock (usually the rightmost knob).
- Rotate this knob in either direction until the hour and minute hands display the correct current time.
4.3 Setting the Alarm Time
- Locate the alarm setting knob on the back of the clock (usually the leftmost knob).
- Rotate this knob (typically counter-clockwise only) until the alarm hand points to your desired wake-up time.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Activating and Deactivating the Alarm
- To activate the alarm, slide the alarm ON/OFF switch (located on the side of the clock) upwards. A small green indicator may appear on the front dial.
- To deactivate the alarm, slide the alarm ON/OFF switch downwards. The green indicator will disappear.

5.2 Snooze Function
- When the alarm sounds, press the large "Snooze/Light" button located on the top of the clock.
- The alarm will pause for approximately 4 minutes and then sound again.
- To completely stop the alarm, slide the alarm ON/OFF switch on the side of the clock downwards.
5.3 Backlight and Light Sensor
- Manual Backlight: Press the "Snooze/Light" button on top of the clock to briefly illuminate the dial. This is useful for checking the time in the dark without activating the automatic night light.
- Automatic Night Lighting: On the back of the clock, locate the "backlight" switch (ON/OFF).
- Set the switch to "ON" to activate the light sensor. In dark environments, a gentle, continuous backlight will automatically illuminate the dial.
- Set the switch to "OFF" to disable the automatic night lighting.
