Product Overview
The multi-fuel Streamlight TLR-1 HL-X features a hinged face cap with robust release controls that allow for front-loaded battery changes without removing the light from the firearm. The light provides 1,500 lumens and 20,000 candela when powered by (2) Streamlight SL-B9 proprietary rechargeable battery packs (included). The light can also operate with (2) CR123A batteries (sold separately) to deliver 1000 lumens and 15,000 candela. Customizable rear paddle switches, momentary and constant on operation and a programmable strobe mode offer additional versatility for many applications.

Setup and Installation
Battery Installation and Charging
The TLR-1 HL-X USB is designed for easy battery changes. The hinged face cap allows for front-loaded battery replacement without needing to remove the light from the firearm. It uses two Streamlight SL-B9 proprietary rechargeable battery packs (included). Alternatively, it can operate with two CR123A batteries (sold separately).
To charge the rechargeable batteries, use the provided USB cable. Connect the cable to the light and a compatible USB power source.

Mounting to Firearm
The rail clamp system allows for quick and safe attachment and detachment without the need for tools. This design ensures that your hands do not need to be placed in front of the muzzle during installation or removal.

Operating Instructions
The TLR-1 HL-X features ambidextrous momentary and steady on/off switches, providing versatile control for any situation. The light also includes a programmable strobe mode.
Switch Operation:
- Momentary On: Press and hold either the left or right paddle switch. Release to turn off.
- Constant On: Quickly tap either the left or right paddle switch. Tap again to turn off.
- Strobe Mode: (If programmed) Rapidly tap either switch twice to activate strobe. Tap again to turn off.

Maintenance
