4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Keyboard

Before first use, fully charge the keyboard using the provided Type-C charging cable. Connect one end to the keyboard's USB-C port and the other to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).

4.2 Connecting the Keyboard

The AUSDOM 98Pro supports three connection modes: Bluetooth, 2.4GHz Wireless, and Wired USB-C.

4.2.1 2.4GHz Wireless Connection

1. Locate the USB receiver in the keyboard's storage slot.
2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer or device.
3. Switch the keyboard's mode selector to "2.4G" (usually located on the top edge of the keyboard).
4. The keyboard should automatically connect. If not, press FN + 4 to initiate pairing.

4.2.2 Bluetooth Connection

The keyboard supports up to three Bluetooth devices (BT1, BT2, BT3).

1. Switch the keyboard's mode selector to "BT".
2. Press and hold FN + 1 (for BT1), FN + 2 (for BT2), or FN + 3 (for BT3) for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly, indicating pairing mode.

5.1 Backlight Control

The keyboard features a single white backlight with multiple effects.

• Change Backlight Levels: Press FN + ← or FN + → to adjust backlight brightness (4 levels).
• Change Backlight Effects: Press FN + ↑ or FN + ↓ to cycle through 16 different lighting effects.

3. Align the pins of the new 3-pin or 5-pin switch with the holes in the PCB socket.
4. Gently press the new switch into place until it clicks securely.
5. Replace the keycap.

5.3 Mac/Windows Layout Switching

To switch between Mac and Windows keyboard layouts, press FN + A for Windows layout or FN + S for Mac layout.
