4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to set up and install your EOJO Starlight Window Camera:

1. Insert Micro SD Card: Ensure the pre-installed 64GB Micro SD card is securely in its port. If not, use the provided reset pin to gently push it into place until it clicks.
2. Power On: Connect the camera to the AC adapter using the power cord and plug it into a power outlet. The device indicator light will flash blue, and you will hear a voice prompt when it's ready for pairing.
3. Download EOJO App: Download the official EOJO App from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android). Register an account if you haven't already.
4. Pairing:
   • Open the EOJO App and click the "+" icon in the upper right corner to add a new device.
   • Select "Scan the QR code" or "Bluetooth Pairing".
   • If scanning, use the app to scan the QR code located on the camera sticker.
   • If using Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and select the camera from the device list.
   • Follow the on-screen prompts to connect to your 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your Wi-Fi name and password are entered correctly (case-sensitive).
   • Wait for the pairing process to complete. Once successful, you can name your camera and set its location.
5. Window Mounting:
   • Clean the window surface thoroughly before installation to ensure optimal adhesion.
   • Peel off the blue protective cover from the Anti-Glare Velcro Base attached to the camera.
   • Affix the camera firmly onto the interior side of your window, ensuring the lens faces outwards.

5.1. Adjusting Detection Settings

You can customize the camera's detection sensitivity and frequency through the EOJO App to suit your needs.

1. From the camera's live view screen in the EOJO App, tap the settings icon (gear icon) in the upper right corner.
2. Navigate to "Parameter Settings".
3. Here you can adjust "Detect Sensitivity" (Low, Middle, High) and "Detect Frequency" (Low, Middle, High).
4. You can also set a "Detection Time" schedule for when the camera should actively detect motion.

5.2. Sharing Your Camera

Share access to your camera with family and friends through the EOJO App.

1. From the camera's live view screen, tap the settings icon.
2. Scroll down and select "Device Sharing".
3. Choose between "QR Code Sharing" or "Manual Sharing" (Email Sharing).
4. For QR Code Sharing: A QR code will be generated. The recipient must download and register the EOJO App, then scan this QR code. You can select which camera functions (e.g., live stream, playback, voice intercom) they can access.
5. For Manual Sharing (Email): Enter the recipient's email address (they must be registered with the EOJO App using that email). Select the desired camera functions to share and confirm. An invitation will be sent to their email.

5.3. Local Storage Playback and Download

Your camera continuously records to the included Micro SD card. You can view and download these recordings via the EOJO App.

1. From the EOJO App dashboard, enter the individual device footage.
2. Tap on "Playback" located at the bottom right of the screen.
3. The timeline will display orange blocks indicating recorded events. Drag the timestamp forward or backward to navigate through recorded events.
4. To download a video clip, locate the download button below the replay screen.
5. Select the desired video clip length (up to 10 minutes) by dragging the window on the timeline.
6. Click the download button to save the footage to your smartphone's photo album.

• Cleaning: Gently wipe the camera lens and body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Firmware Updates: Regularly check the EOJO App for available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
• SD Card Management: The 64GB SD card provides continuous recording. Periodically review and back up important footage. If the card becomes full, older footage will be overwritten. Consider upgrading to a 128GB card if more local storage is needed.
• Window Surface: Ensure the window surface where the camera is mounted remains clean and free of obstructions for the best viewing quality.

• Camera Offline:
  • Check Wi-Fi connection: Ensure your router is working and the camera is within range.
  • Power cycle: Unplug the camera, wait 10 seconds, and plug it back in.
  • Re-pair: If the issue persists, try re-pairing the camera with the EOJO App.
• Poor Video Quality:
  • Clean lens: Ensure the camera lens and the window surface are clean.
  • Network stability: Check your Wi-Fi signal strength. A weak signal can affect streaming quality.

• Detection Not Working / Too Many Alerts:
