1. Introduction

The GUOANVISION P7-1 is a 2K 4MP Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) security camera designed for both outdoor and indoor surveillance. It features 360° pan and 90° tilt capabilities, providing extensive coverage. 4. Setup

4.1 Powering the Camera

The GUOANVISION P7-1 camera requires a continuous power supply. Connect the included power adapter to the camera's power input port and plug it into a standard electrical outlet. Note: This camera is not Power over Ethernet (PoE) compatible and requires a separate power cable, even when connected wirelessly to a network.

4.2 Network Connection

The camera supports both wireless (2.4GHz Wi-Fi) and wired (LAN cable) network connections.

• Wi-Fi Connection: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Follow the instructions in the mobile application to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network.
• Wired Connection: Connect an Ethernet cable from your router or NVR to the camera's LAN port.

4.3 Mobile Application Setup

Download the recommended mobile application (check packaging or product information for the specific app name) from your device's app store (iOS/Android). Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera, which typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or manually entering its ID.

4.4 Mounting the Camera

The camera can be mounted on a ceiling or wall using the provided screws and anchors. Choose a location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within range of your power source and Wi-Fi network.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Pan and Tilt Control

Use the mobile application to remotely control the camera's pan (horizontal) and tilt (vertical) movements. The camera offers a 355° horizontal pan and 90° vertical tilt, allowing you to cover a wide area with minimal blind spots.

5.2 Night Vision Modes

The camera features three night vision modes to suit different lighting conditions:

• Full Color Night Vision: Provides a clear, colored image in low light.
• Infrared Night Vision: Uses infrared LEDs for black and white vision in complete darkness.
• Double-Light Mode: Combines infrared with a spotlight for enhanced visibility and deterrence.

5.3 AI Detection and Motion Tracking

5.4 Two-Way Audio Communication

The built-in microphone and speaker allow for clear two-way audio communication. You can listen to the camera's surroundings and speak through the camera using the mobile application.

5.5 Recording and Storage

The camera supports 24/7 recording and offers two storage options:

• MicroSD Card: Insert a MicroSD card (up to 256GB, not included) into the camera's slot for local storage.
• Cloud Storage: Subscribe to a cloud storage service (via the app) for remote backup of your recordings.

5.6 Multi-User Access

You can share access to your camera's live feed and recordings with family members or trusted individuals through the mobile application.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Gently wipe the camera lens and body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Firmware Updates: Regularly check the mobile application for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Power Connection: Ensure the power cable is securely connected and free from damage.

7. Troubleshooting

• Camera Not Powering On:
  • Ensure the power adapter is correctly connected to the camera and a working power outlet.
  • Verify the power outlet is functional.
• Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi:
  • Confirm your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
  • Ensure the camera is within range of your Wi-Fi router.
  • Check that the Wi-Fi password entered in the app is correct.
  • Restart your router and the camera.
• No Image/Poor Image Quality:
  • Check network connectivity. A weak signal can affect image quality.
  • Clean the camera lens if it appears dirty or smudged.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the camera's view.
• False Motion Alerts:
  • Adjust the motion detection sensitivity settings in the mobile application.
  • Define specific detection zones to exclude areas with frequent irrelevant motion (e.g., trees swaying).
• Two-Way Audio Issues:
  • Ensure the microphone and speaker are not obstructed.
  • Check the volume settings in the mobile application.
  • Verify network stability for clear audio transmission.
