Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your MADETEC Dehumidifier. This compact and portable dehumidifier is designed to reduce excess moisture in small to medium-sized spaces, such as bedrooms, bathrooms, closets, basements, garages, and RVs, covering areas up to 350 square feet (2500 cubic feet).
The dehumidifier utilizes advanced thermoelectric Peltier technology to effectively remove up to 450ml (34oz) of moisture per day, helping to maintain a comfortable humidity level below 45% and prevent issues related to dampness.
Safety Information
Please read all safety instructions carefully before using the appliance. Failure to comply with these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

- Do not operate the dehumidifier with a damaged cord or plug.

Key Components:
- Air Inlet/Outlet: Located on the top and rear of the unit for air circulation.
- Control Panel: Buttons for power, mode selection, and LED light control.
- Water Tank: Transparent, removable tank with a 1000ml (35oz) capacity for collecting condensed water.
- Handle: Integrated handle for easy portability.

Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Placement: Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface in the desired location. Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around the unit for proper airflow. Avoid placing it directly against walls or furniture.
- Power Connection: Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off:
- Press the Power button (usually indicated by a universal power symbol) on the control panel to turn the unit ON. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Press the Power button again to turn the unit OFF.
Working Modes:
The dehumidifier supports two distinct working modes:
- Strong Mode: In this mode, the fan operates at a high level to maximize moisture removal, quickly reducing humidity in the area. This is the default or primary operating mode.
- Sleep Mode: Designed for quiet operation, the fan speed is reduced, and the noise level is less than 30dB. This mode is ideal for use in bedrooms or other areas where minimal disturbance is desired, such as during reading or sleeping.
To switch between modes, refer to the specific button on your control panel, often labeled "Mode" or integrated with the power button for sequential presses.
7-Color LED Lights:
The dehumidifier features integrated LED lights that can be customized.
- Press the Light button (often indicated by a light bulb or color wheel symbol) to cycle through the available light options.
- You can choose to have the lights rotate through all 7 colors, or you can fix it to a specific color.
- To turn off the LED lights while the dehumidifier continues to operate, press and hold the Light button for a few seconds.

Auto Shut-off Function:
For safety and convenience, the dehumidifier is equipped with an automatic shut-off feature.
- When the 1000ml water tank is full, the unit will automatically power off to prevent overflow.
- The indicator light will turn red and flash, signaling that the water tank needs to be emptied.

Maintenance
Emptying the Water Tank:
- When the water tank is full, the dehumidifier will automatically shut off, and the indicator light will flash red.
- Carefully pull out the water tank from the bottom of the unit. The tank has a visible groove for easy pulling.
- Remove the lid from the water tank and pour out the collected water.
- Replace the lid securely and slide the empty water tank back into the dehumidifier until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation automatically.
Cleaning the Unit:
- Always unplug the dehumidifier before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Clean the air inlet and outlet grilles regularly with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to prevent dust buildup.
Cleaning the Removable Filter:
The dehumidifier is equipped with a removable filter to block dust and ensure fresh air output.
- Locate the removable filter behind the rear grille of the unit.
- Gently pull out the filter.
- Clean the filter with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove accumulated dust. For heavier dirt, rinse with lukewarm water (no soap) and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
- Reinsert the dry filter back into its slot.

Troubleshooting
