4. Setup

4.1 Initial Setup

1. Connect Display: Connect your monitor(s) to the HDMI or USB4 ports using the provided HDMI cable or a compatible USB4 cable. The MS-01 supports up to three displays simultaneously.
2. Connect Peripherals: Plug in your keyboard, mouse, and other USB devices into the available USB ports.
3. Connect Network: For wired network access, connect an Ethernet cable to one of the 2.5G RJ45 ports or an SFP+ cable to the 10G SFP+ ports.
4. Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the DC 19V input port on the rear of the Mini Workstation, then plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
5. Power On: Press the power button located on the front panel. The power indicator light will illuminate.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press the power button on the front panel.
• Normal Shutdown: Use the operating system's shutdown function.
• Force Shutdown: Press and hold the power button for approximately 5-7 seconds until the device powers off. Use this only when the system is unresponsive.

5.2 BIOS Access

To access the BIOS/UEFI setup utility, power on the Mini Workstation and repeatedly press the DEL key on your keyboard when the MINISFORUM logo appears. This allows you to configure system settings, boot order, and hardware parameters.
