Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your charger, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Batteries Not Charging:
    • Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the charger and the power source.
    • Verify that the power source is active and providing sufficient power (e.g., wall outlet is working, power bank is charged).
    • Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with contacts aligned.
    • For new batteries, some may require an initial small charge directly in the camera before they can be recognized by external chargers. Try charging the new battery briefly in your camera first.
    • Confirm that the batteries are compatible with the EN-EL25 standard.
  • Indicator Lights Not Functioning:
    • Ensure the charger is properly connected to a power source.
    • If the charger or batteries feel excessively hot, the overheat protection may have activated. Disconnect and allow them to cool before attempting to charge again.
