2. Setup

2.1 Mounting Options

The pinspot light can be installed using its adjustable mounting bracket. It supports various orientations, including floor mount, truss mounting, or wall/ceiling installation. Ensure the mounting surface is stable and capable of supporting the light's weight.

  • Floor Mount: Position the light on a flat, stable surface. Adjust the bracket to achieve the desired beam angle.
  • Suspended Installation: Securely attach the mounting bracket to a truss or ceiling fixture using appropriate clamps or screws (not included). Always use a safety cable when suspending the light.

2.2 Power Connection

  1. Ensure the power switch on the unit (if present) is in the OFF position.
  2. Connect the power cable to the power input on the back of the pinspot light.
  3. Plug the other end of the power cable into a standard AC90V-240V/50-60Hz power outlet.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Basic Operation

  1. After connecting power, turn on the unit.
  2. Manual Focus Adjustment: To adjust the sharpness and size of the light beam, gently rotate the manual focus ring located at the front of the light. This allows you to achieve a precise beam for your application.

3.2 Remote Control Functions

The included IR remote controller provides comprehensive control over the pinspot light's features. Ensure the remote is pointed towards the IR receiver on the light for optimal response.

3.2.1 RGB Color Selection and Dynamic Modes

The upper section of the remote is dedicated to RGB color control and various dynamic effects.

  • Static Colors: Press the individual color buttons (R, G, B, W) or the various color swatches to select a static color. The light will remember the last setting.
  • Jump: Cycles through colors with abrupt transitions.
  • Fade: Smoothly transitions between colors.
  • Flash: Rapidly flashes the selected color.
  • Strobe: Creates a pulsating light effect.
  • Dim Functions: Use the brightness adjustment buttons (up/down arrows) to increase or decrease the intensity of the selected color.

3.2.2 White Light Control

The lower section of the remote is specifically for controlling the white light output.

  • White Brightness: Use the dedicated brightness buttons to continuously dim the white light or select specific brightness steps.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain optimal performance and light output.

  • Disconnect the light from power before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the exterior of the light.
  • For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning solution and cloth to avoid scratches.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

4.2 Cooling System

The pinspot light incorporates a sunflower aluminum part and an intelligent mini fan for cooling. The fan activates automatically when the aluminum part's temperature exceeds 50 degrees Celsius and stops when it cools down. Ensure the cooling fins are free from dust and obstructions to allow proper airflow.

4.3 Fuse Replacement

The unit is equipped with a 1A fuse for protection. If the light fails to power on, check and replace the fuse if necessary.

  1. Disconnect the light from the power supply.
  2. Locate the fuse holder at the back of the unit.
  3. Unscrew the fuse holder cap.
  4. Carefully remove the old fuse.
  5. Insert a new 1A fuse (AC250V, 1A, 5x20mm type).
  6. Screw the fuse holder cap back on securely.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Light does not turn on:
    • Check if the power cable is securely connected to both the light and the power outlet.
    • Verify that the power outlet is functional.
    • Inspect and replace the 1A fuse if it is blown (refer to Section 4.3).
  • Remote control is unresponsive:
    • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the light's IR receiver.
    • Check the remote control's battery and replace if necessary.
    • Ensure the remote is pointed directly at the light's IR receiver.
  • Light beam is blurry or unfocused:
    • Adjust the manual focus ring at the front of the light until the beam is clear (refer to Section 3.1).
  • Fan is constantly running or not running:
    • The fan operates automatically based on temperature. Constant running may indicate high ambient temperature or prolonged use.
    • If the fan never runs and the unit feels hot, ensure cooling fins are clear of obstructions. If the issue persists, contact support.
