5. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your Jecod MD4.4 Dosing Pump.

5.1 Mounting the Pump

1. Choose a suitable location near your aquarium, ensuring it is dry and stable.
2. Attach the provided pump holder to a secure surface or the aquarium rim. The holder is designed for glass thickness up to 0.75 inches.
3. Carefully place the MD4.4 dosing pump into the holder, ensuring it is stable and level.

5.2 Connecting Tubing

1. Connect the inlet tubing (typically from your supplement containers) to the bottom connectors of each dosing channel. The pump is designed for tubing with an outer diameter of 0.3 inches.
2. Connect the outlet tubing (leading to your aquarium) to the top connectors of each dosing channel.
3. Ensure all tubing connections are secure to prevent leaks.

5.3 Power Connection

1. Connect the power adapter to the dosing pump.
2. Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet. The pump will power on, and status indicators may light up.

5.4 App Download and Wi-Fi Connection

1. Download the official Jecod/Jebao dosing pump application from your smartphone's app store (available for iOS and Android).
2. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect your MD4.4 dosing pump to your home Wi-Fi network. Note: The device supports 2.4G Wi-Fi networks only.
3. Once connected, the app will display the device status, and you can proceed to programming.

6. Operating Instructions

The Jecod MD4.4 Doser is primarily operated through its dedicated smartphone application.

6.1 App Interface Overview

• Upon opening the app, you will see a list of connected devices. Select your MD4.4 pump.
• The main screen typically displays the status of each channel and provides options for programming.

6.2 Programming Dosing Schedules

1. Select the desired dosing channel (CH1, CH2, CH3, or CH4) within the app.
2. Set the total daily volume to be dispensed for that channel (1ml to 9999ml).
3. Specify the number of dosing times per day (up to 24 times). The app will automatically divide the total volume by the number of doses.
4. You can also set an interval for dosing, up to 30 days, for less frequent supplementation.
