Operating Instructions
Jump Starting a Vehicle
Follow these steps carefully to safely jump start your vehicle:

Image: A four-step diagram illustrating the process of jump starting a car using the Scatach 019. It shows connecting the smart clamps to the jump starter, then to the car battery terminals, starting the engine, and finally disconnecting the clamps.
- Ensure Sufficient Power: Make sure the jump starter has at least 50% battery charge. Plug the smart jump cable into the "DO Automobile Starting Interface" port on the jump starter.
- Connect to Battery: Connect the red clamp to the vehicle's positive (+) battery terminal. Connect the black clamp to the vehicle's negative (-) battery terminal. Ensure a secure connection. The smart cable will indicate readiness.
- Start Engine: Return to your vehicle and start the engine. If the engine does not start immediately, wait 30 seconds before attempting again. Do not crank the engine for more than 3 seconds per attempt.
- Remove Jumper Cable: Once the vehicle starts, immediately remove the smart jump cable from the vehicle battery terminals, then disconnect it from the jump starter.
Important Safety Note: Always connect the clamps to the battery terminals first, then plug the smart cable into the jump starter. Disconnect in reverse order: unplug from jump starter, then remove from battery terminals. Do not allow the red and black clamps to touch each other.
