Setup

1. Unboxing and Package Contents

Carefully unpack the BOBOVR BD3 Charging Dock. Ensure all components are present:

• BD3 Charging Dock x1
• Charging Cable (USB Type-C) x1
• Anti-slip Mat x1

2. Compatibility

The BD3 Charging Dock is specifically designed for BOBOVR B100 battery packs, which are compatible with S3 Pro and E3 Pro battery straps. It is not compatible with B2 Battery Packs (M3 Pro head strap).

3. Connecting Power

Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the input port on the back of the BD3 Charging Dock. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB-C power adapter (not included). For optimal performance and fast charging, a 30-100W USB-C charger is recommended.

4. Applying the Anti-Slip Mat

Peel off the protective film from the anti-slip mat and firmly attach it to the bottom surface of the BD3 Charging Dock. This will prevent the dock from sliding on smooth surfaces.

Operating Instructions

1. Charging B100 Batteries

Place up to three B100 battery packs onto the designated magnetic charging interfaces on the dock. The magnetic connection ensures proper alignment and secure charging. The dock can charge all three batteries simultaneously.

2. Fast Charging Capability

Each battery interface provides independent 30W fast charging power. This allows a B100 battery to reach 80% capacity in approximately 1 hour. The total power output of the dock is limited by the connected USB-C charger.

3. Digital Display Functions

The integrated digital display provides real-time information:

• Total Charging Power: Displays the current output wattage of the charging dock.
• Fastest Charging Position: Indicates which battery slot is charging fastest.
• Precise Battery Level: Shows the exact numerical battery percentage for each inserted B100 battery, allowing for convenient retrieval of fully charged batteries.

4. Hot-Swapping for Extended Play

With multiple B100 batteries and the fast-charging dock, you can achieve almost unlimited game time by alternating between charged and charging batteries. Simply swap a depleted battery for a fully charged one from the dock to continue your VR experience without interruption.

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your BD3 Charging Dock:

• Keep the charging contacts clean and free of dust or debris. Use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your BD3 Charging Dock, consider the following:

• No Power/Display Off: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the dock and the power adapter. Verify the power adapter is functioning and plugged into a live outlet.
• Slow Charging: Confirm that your USB-C power adapter provides sufficient wattage (30-100W recommended). Lower wattage adapters may result in slower charging speeds.
• Battery Not Charging: Check that the B100 battery is correctly seated on the magnetic contacts. Ensure the contacts on both the battery and the dock are clean.
• Incompatible Battery: Remember that the BD3 dock only supports B100 battery packs. B2 batteries are not compatible.
