4. Assembly

Before assembling, ensure all parts are clean and dry. Refer to the 'Cleaning and Maintenance' section for initial cleaning instructions.

1. Insert the grinding head into the motor unit opening, ensuring it is securely locked in place.
2. Place the feeding screw (auger) into the grinding head, rotating it slightly until it seats properly.
3. Position the cutting blade onto the shaft of the feeding screw with the sharp edges facing outwards.
4. Select the desired cutting plate (fine, medium, or coarse) and place it over the cutting blade.
5. Screw the fixing ring onto the grinding head clockwise until it is tight. Do not overtighten.
6. Place the hopper plate on top of the grinding head.

5. Operation

5.1 General Grinding

1. Ensure the appliance is correctly assembled and plugged into a 220V, 50Hz power outlet.
2. Cut food (e.g., meat) into small pieces that fit easily into the hopper opening. Remove bones, gristle, and excessive fat.
3. Place the cut food onto the hopper plate.
4. Turn the appliance ON.
5. Using the food pusher, gently feed the food into the grinding head. Never use your fingers or other utensils.
6. Collect the ground food in a suitable container placed under the outlet.
7. After use, turn the appliance OFF and unplug it.

5.2 Using Kebbe and Sausage Attachments

To use these attachments, first disassemble the cutting blade and cutting plate from the grinding head. Then, attach the kebbe or sausage attachment directly onto the feeding screw shaft before securing with the fixing ring.

• Kebbe Attachment: Follow specific kebbe recipes for preparing the mixture. Feed the mixture into the grinder to form hollow tubes.
• Sausage Attachment: Place the sausage casing onto the nozzle. Feed the prepared sausage mixture into the grinder, guiding the casing as it fills.

5.3 Reverse Function

The reverse function is designed to clear blockages. If food becomes jammed during grinding, turn the appliance OFF, then switch to the 'R' (Reverse) mode. This will rotate the feeding screw in the opposite direction to dislodge the blockage. After clearing, switch back to the 'ON' position to resume grinding. Do not use the reverse function for extended periods.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your meat grinder.

1. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
2. Disassemble the grinding head components (fixing ring, cutting plate, cutting blade, feeding screw, hopper plate).
3. Wash all removable parts (except the motor unit) in warm, soapy water. Use a brush to remove any food residue from the cutting plates and blade.
4. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent rust, especially for stainless steel parts.
5. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor unit in water.
6. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing.
7. For storage, keep the grinder in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
