Setup and Installation
Before beginning installation, ensure all components are present and your desk surface is clean and stable. The Pixio PS1S monitor arm offers two installation methods: C-Clamp and Grommet.
1. Choose Your Mounting Method
- C-Clamp Installation (Default): Suitable for desks with an edge. This method does not require drilling.
- Grommet Installation: Requires a pre-drilled hole in your desk. This provides a more permanent and flush mount.

2. Attach the Desk Mount
Follow the specific instructions provided with your product for attaching the chosen desk mount to your desk. Ensure the mount is securely fastened to prevent instability.
3. Assemble the Monitor Arm
Connect the arm segments as indicated in the assembly diagram. The design allows for assembly from above the desk surface.
4. Attach the VESA Plate to Your Monitor
Locate the VESA mounting holes on the back of your monitor. Use the provided screws to attach the detachable VESA plate to your monitor. Ensure the screws are tightened securely but do not overtighten.
5. Mount the Monitor to the Arm
Carefully lift your monitor with the attached VESA plate and slide it onto the VESA head of the monitor arm until it clicks into place. Verify that the monitor is securely attached before releasing it.

Operating and Adjusting the Monitor Arm
The Pixio PS1S monitor arm offers flexible adjustments to achieve an ergonomic viewing position.
1. Adjusting Height and Position
Gently move the monitor to your desired height and position. The gas spring mechanism allows for smooth vertical and horizontal adjustments. The arm can extend and retract, and swivel horizontally.
2. Adjusting Tilt and Swivel
The VESA head allows for tilting the monitor up or down and swiveling it left or right. You can also rotate the monitor from landscape to portrait orientation.
3. Adjusting Spring Tension
If your monitor sags or does not stay in position, the spring tension may need adjustment. Use the provided hex key to adjust the tension screw located on the arm. Turn clockwise to increase tension for heavier monitors, and counter-clockwise to decrease tension for lighter monitors. Adjust gradually until the monitor holds its position firmly.

4. Cable Management
Route your power and video cables through the integrated cable management trays on the underside of the arm. This helps keep your workspace tidy and free of clutter.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your monitor arm.
- Cleaning: Wipe the arm surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the finish.
- Tension Check: Periodically check the spring tension. If the monitor feels loose or sags, readjust the tension using the hex key as described in the "Operating" section.
- Fastener Check: Ensure all screws and fasteners are tight. Do not overtighten.
Troubleshooting
Refer to the following common issues and their solutions:
- Monitor Sags or Does Not Stay in Position:
Solution: The spring tension needs to be increased. Use the provided hex key to turn the tension screw clockwise. Adjust gradually until the monitor holds its position.
- Monitor Arm is Too Stiff to Move:
Solution: The spring tension may be too high for your monitor's weight. Use the provided hex key to turn the tension screw counter-clockwise to decrease tension.
- Monitor Wobbles or Feels Unstable:
Solution: Ensure the desk clamp or grommet mount is securely tightened to the desk. Also, check that the VESA plate is firmly attached to both the monitor and the arm.
- Cables Do Not Fit in Management Trays:
Solution: Ensure cables are routed individually and not bundled excessively. If cables are too thick or numerous, consider external cable management solutions.
