3. Setup and Installation
Setting up your TOWODE WiFi Alarm Home Security System is straightforward and requires no professional assistance. Follow these steps for proper installation and configuration:
3.1 Physical Installation
- Siren Placement: Plug the siren into a power outlet in a central location within your desired security area. Ensure it is within range of your WiFi network.
- Sensor Placement: Door and window alarms, along with infrared motion detectors, can be secured using the provided adhesive pads or screws.
- For motion sensors, install at a height of approximately 2 meters (6.5 feet) to detect movement effectively from 19 to 26 feet away.
- Avoid facing PIR sensors against windows, ovens, or air conditioners, as moving heat sources and wind can trigger false alarms.

3.2 App and Network Configuration
The system connects to your home WiFi network via the Tuya Smart app. Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network for initial setup.
- Download the Tuya Smart app from your device's app store.
- Open the app and create an account or log in.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. The app will automatically search for the device when the siren is powered on.
- Follow the in-app instructions to add the device. You will need to enter your 2.4GHz WiFi network credentials.
- If your router has a 'dual-band-in-one' function, ensure it is configured to allow 2.4GHz connections.

3.3 Pairing Sensors and Remote Controls
The WiFi loudspeaker can learn up to 30 wireless detectors and 20 remote controls. The system is pre-programmed, but you can add more accessories as needed.
- In the Tuya Smart app, navigate to the 'Accessories' section.
- Select 'Add accessory' and follow the prompts to trigger the sensor or press a button on the remote control to pair it with the system.

4. Operating Instructions
Once set up, your security system offers multiple ways to arm, disarm, and monitor your property.
4.1 Arming and Disarming
- Via Tuya Smart App: Use the app to remotely arm or disarm the system from anywhere. You can also customize arming/disarming delays, alarm duration, and set schedules for automatic arming/disarming.
- Via Remote Control: Use the provided remote controls to arm (lock key) or disarm (unlock key) the system. The remote has a range of up to 300 feet.

- Instant App Alerts: Receive immediate notifications on your smartphone when an alarm is triggered, or a sensor detects activity.
