5. Setup
5.1 App Installation and Account Registration
- Turn on Bluetooth and Connect to 2.4G WiFi: Ensure your mobile device's Bluetooth is enabled and it is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Download the iCSee App: Scan the QR code provided in the quick start guide or search for "iCSee" in your mobile app store (App Store for iOS, Google Play Store for Android). You can also visit https://d.xmeye.net/CSee.
- Register an Account: Open the iCSee app and follow the on-screen prompts to register a new user account.
- Pair Camera via Bluetooth: In the app, select the option to add a new device. The app will use Bluetooth to discover nearby cameras. Select your camera from the list to begin pairing.
- Connect Successfully: Follow the remaining prompts to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network and complete the setup.

5.2 Mounting the Camera
The GUOANVISION P7S camera supports both wall and ceiling mounting. Choose a location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within range of your Wi-Fi network and a power outlet.
- Mark Drilling Positions: Use the mounting template (if provided) or the camera base to mark the positions for drilling holes.
- Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked positions and insert the wall anchors.
- Secure the Camera: Align the camera base with the drilled holes and secure it using the provided screws.
- Adjust Angle: Once mounted, adjust the camera's physical orientation if necessary before powering on.

6.1 Pan, Tilt, and Zoom (PTZ) Control

6.2 AI Detection and Auto-Tracking

- AP Mode (No WiFi Connection): In areas without Wi-Fi, the camera can create its own access point for direct connection from a mobile device within a short range.
- NVR Connection: The camera can be connected to a Network Video Recorder (NVR) that supports resolutions above 6MP for centralized recording and management. (NVR needs to be purchased separately).

- Camera Not Connecting to Wi-Fi:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
- Check Wi-Fi signal strength at the camera's location.
- Restart your router and the camera.
- Verify the Wi-Fi password entered in the app is correct.
- App Not Logging In / Remote Viewing Issues:
- Ensure your mobile device has a stable internet connection.
- Update the iCSee app to the latest version.
- Clear the app's cache or reinstall the app.
- Check if there are any network restrictions (e.g., firewall) preventing the app from connecting to the camera remotely.
- SD Card Not Recording or Full:
- Ensure the SD card is properly inserted.
- Format the SD card through the iCSee app. This will erase all existing data.
- Check recording settings in the app to ensure continuous recording or motion-triggered recording is enabled.
- Image is Upside Down:
- Check the camera settings in the iCSee app for an 'Image Flip' or 'Rotation' option. Enable this if the camera was mounted inverted (e.g., on a ceiling).
- Poor Night Vision:
- Ensure the camera lens is clean.
- Check if the night vision mode is set correctly in the app (Infrared, Full Color, or Double-Light).
- Remove any obstructions near the camera that might reflect IR light back into the lens.
