1. Power Connection (+12V): Connect a heavy-gauge power cable from the positive terminal of your battery to the +12V terminal on the amplifier. Install an appropriate fuse (not included) within 18 inches of the battery.
2. Ground Connection (GND): Connect a heavy-gauge ground cable from the GND terminal on the amplifier to a clean, solid metal point on the boat's chassis or a dedicated ground bus. Ensure a good electrical connection.
3. Remote Turn-On (REM): Connect a remote turn-on wire from your head unit's remote output to the REM terminal on the amplifier. This wire turns the amplifier on and off with your head unit.

5. RCA Inputs: Connect RCA cables from your head unit's pre-amp outputs to the INPUT RCA jacks on the amplifier.

6.1 Initial Power-Up

6.2 Adjusting Gain (Level)

The gain controls (Level 1/2, Level 3/4, Level 5) match the amplifier's input sensitivity to your head unit's output voltage. This is not a volume control.

1. Set all amplifier gain controls to minimum (0.2V).
2. Set your head unit's volume to about 75% of its maximum.
3. Slowly increase the amplifier's gain control for each channel group until you hear slight distortion, then back off slightly.

The NEO5v2 features variable high-pass (HP) and low-pass (LP) crossovers for channels 1/2, 3/4, and channel 5 (subwoofer). The 'Full' setting bypasses the crossover.

• High-Pass (HP): Allows frequencies above the set point to pass. Typically used for full-range speakers to prevent them from playing low bass.
• Low-Pass (LP): Allows frequencies below the set point to pass. Typically used for subwoofers.
• Adjust the crossover frequency knobs (40Hz-400Hz for HP/LP on CH1/2 and CH3/4; 40Hz-600Hz for LP on CH5) to blend your speakers and subwoofer smoothly.

Channel 5 (subwoofer channel) includes a variable bass boost up to 12dB at 45Hz. Use this feature to enhance low-frequency output.
