Product Overview

Transmitter Features (X4)

Receiver Features (P6F)

Setup
1. Powering the Transmitter
The DUMBORC X4 Transmitter can be powered by two methods:
- AA Batteries: Insert 4 x 1.5V AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. Ensure correct polarity by aligning the metal terminals.
- 2S Lithium Battery: A 2S lithium battery can be used. The controller's lithium battery socket has an anti-reverse insertion function to prevent damage if connected incorrectly.
- USB Power Supply: The controller can also be powered via a USB cable connected to a 5V USB power supply. Caution: Only use a 5V power supply; higher voltages will damage the remote controller.

2. Binding the Transmitter and Receiver
To establish communication between the transmitter and receiver:
- Ensure the transmitter is powered on.
- Power up the DUMBORC P6F receiver. The green LED on the receiver will likely be solid.
- Press the binding button located on the side of the receiver and release it.
- Within 5 seconds, press and release the receiver button again. This action will bind the receiver to the transmitter. The green LED should now indicate a successful bind (e.g., flashing or solid, depending on the specific receiver state).
Note: The system is designed for easy installation and setting. Many setting videos are available online for further guidance.
Operating Instructions
Basic Controls
- Channel 1 (Steering): Controlled by the steering wheel on the transmitter. Turn the wheel left or right to control the direction of your RC model.
- Channel 2 (Throttle): Controlled by the trigger. Pull the trigger to accelerate forward, push it to brake or reverse.
- Channel 3 & 4 (Auxiliary): Controlled by the 3-switch design on the transmitter. These channels can be used for additional functions such as lights, winches, or other accessories.
Advanced Adjustments
The transmitter features various adjustment options for fine-tuning control:
- Trim Controls: Located under the flip-up cover on the top of the transmitter. These allow for minor adjustments to steering and throttle to ensure the model tracks straight and stops neutrally.
- Reverse Switches: For Channel 1 (Steering) and Channel 2 (Throttle), these switches allow you to reverse the direction of the servo or motor if needed.
- EPA (End Point Adjustment): For Channel 1 (Steering) and Channel 2 (Throttle), these knobs limit the maximum travel of the steering and throttle, preventing over-steering or excessive speed.
- Mixing Function: The transmitter supports 1CH and 2CH mixing functions, which can be set to combine control inputs for more complex maneuvers.

Maintenance
- Keep the transmitter and receiver clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Avoid exposing the components to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- When not in use for extended periods, remove AA batteries from the transmitter to prevent leakage.
- Store the system in a dry, safe place.
Troubleshooting
