3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the camera. Connect the Type-C USB cable to the camera and the charger, then plug the charger into a power outlet. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 4 hours.

3.2 Inserting/Replacing the Memory Card
The CAMMHD Z5 supports external SD cards up to 512GB. A 64GB card is typically included. The memory card slot is located at the bottom of the camera. Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the memory card.
- Locate the memory card slot cover at the bottom of the camera.
- Gently open the cover.
- Insert the SD card with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
- Close the memory card slot cover securely.

3.3 Initial Power On and Language Settings
Press and hold the Power button to turn on the camera. Upon first use, you may be prompted to select a language. Navigate using the control buttons and confirm your selection.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Video Recording
To start video recording, press the dedicated Video Record button. Press it again to stop recording. The camera supports 1440P QHD resolution for clear footage.
4.2 Audio Recording
The camera can record audio simultaneously with video or independently. Refer to the on-screen menu for specific audio recording options.
4.3 Infrared Night Vision
The CAMMHD Z5 features automatic and manual infrared night vision. When enabled, the camera can capture clear video in low-light or dark environments. The automatic mode will activate IR when light conditions require it.

4.4 Silent Mode
For discreet operation, activate Silent Mode through the camera's settings. In this mode, the camera will operate without sound or indicator lights, allowing for less conspicuous recording.
4.5 Loop Recording
The camera supports loop recording, which continuously records video. When the memory card is full, the oldest files are automatically overwritten by new recordings. This ensures continuous operation without manual file management.

4.6 Motion Detection

4.7 Password Protection
To protect your recorded data, activate password protection. You can set a 6-digit password using numbers and letters. This prevents unauthorized access, modification, or deletion of files from the camera.

For more detailed viewing, downloading, deleting, or sharing, connect the camera to a computer using the provided USB cable.
