1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and effective use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your GLAKER Beard Grooming Kit. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use and retain it for future reference.

2. Product Overview and Components

The GLAKER Beard Grooming Kit is an all-in-one grooming solution designed for various hair cutting and shaving needs. It features interchangeable magnetic trimmer heads for versatility.

3. Setup and Initial Charging

Initial Charging:

1. Ensure the trimmer handle is free of any blade attachments before charging.
2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the trimmer handle.
3. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a 5V/1A adapter (adapter is NOT included).
4. Allow approximately 2 hours for a full charge. The LED display will indicate the charging status and real-time battery level.

A full charge provides up to 150 minutes of cordless runtime.

4. Operating Instructions

Attaching and Detaching Heads:

The GLAKER Beard Grooming Kit features magnetic trimmer heads that are easy to attach and detach. Simply align the desired head with the handle and it will securely snap into place.

Powering On/Off and Travel Lock:

• To turn the trimmer ON or OFF, long-press the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds.
• To activate or deactivate the Travel Lock mode, long-press the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds. This prevents accidental powering of the device during travel or storage.

Using Guide Combs:

The kit includes 4 adjustable guide combs. Attach the appropriate guide comb to the trimmer head for your desired hair length and style. The combs are easy to install and swap out.

Grooming Techniques:

Once the desired head and guide comb are attached, turn on the trimmer. Use smooth, even strokes against the direction of hair growth for optimal results. The sharp and durable stainless steel blades ensure precise cutting.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your GLAKER Beard Grooming Kit.

Cleaning After Use:

1. Turn off the trimmer and detach the used head.
2. Use the small cleaning brush to remove any trapped hairs from the blades and the trimmer body.
3. The trimmer has an IPX6 waterproof rating, allowing it to be rinsed under running water for easy cleaning. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before rinsing.
4. Apply a few drops of the provided lubricating oil to the blades after cleaning to maintain their sharpness and smooth operation.
5. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.

Storage:

Store the trimmer and all its accessories in the convenient storage case provided to keep them organized, protected, and easily accessible.

6. Troubleshooting

Device Not Turning On:

• Check Battery: Ensure the device is sufficiently charged. Connect it to a power source using the USB-C cable and a 5V/1A adapter.
• Travel Lock: Verify that the travel lock is not activated. Long-press the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds to deactivate it if the lock icon is displayed.

Poor Trimming Performance:

• Clean Blades: Hair buildup can affect performance. Clean the blades thoroughly using the provided brush and rinse under water.
• Lubricate Blades: Apply a few drops of lubricating oil to the blades to ensure smooth operation and prevent pulling.
• Battery Level: A low battery can reduce motor speed. Recharge the device fully.

Accidental Power Off During Use:

• The power button is sensitive. Adjust your grip to avoid accidentally pressing the ON/OFF button during operation.
