1. Introduction and Overview

3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your Baseus 17-in-1 Docking Station:

3.1 Connecting the Docking Station to Power

1. Connect the provided 36W power adapter to the DC-IN 36W port on the back of the docking station.
2. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.

Note: The included 36W adapter powers the docking station. For laptop charging via the PD port, an additional charger and cable must be connected to the PD port.

3.2 Connecting to Your Laptop

1. Connect one end of the USB-C to USB-C cable to the 'To Host' USB-C port on the back of the docking station.
2. Connect the other end of the USB-C to USB-C cable to a compatible USB-C port on your laptop.

3.3 Connecting External Displays

The docking station supports up to three external displays. Use the appropriate ports:

• HDMI Ports: Connect up to two HDMI monitors to the 4K HDMI ports.
• DisplayPort (DP): Connect one DisplayPort monitor to the 4K DP port.

Ensure your display cables are securely connected to both the docking station and your monitors.

3.4 Connecting Peripherals

Utilize the various ports for your peripherals:

• USB-A 3.0 (5Gbps): Connect high-speed devices like external hard drives or SSDs to the 3 USB-A 3.0 ports on the front.
• USB-C 3.0 (5Gbps): Connect USB-C peripherals to the 2 USB-C 3.0 ports on the front.
• USB-A 2.0: Connect standard peripherals like keyboards, mice, or printers to the 2 USB-A 2.0 ports on the back.
• SD/TF Card Reader: Insert SD or TF cards for data transfer.
• Gigabit Ethernet: Connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN port for a stable wired network connection.
• 3.5mm Mic/Audio: Connect headphones or speakers for audio output, or a microphone for input.

4. Operating Modes

The Baseus 17-in-1 Docking Station supports various display modes depending on your operating system:

4.1 For Windows Systems

Windows users can utilize both Mirror Mode and Extend Mode for multiple displays at 1080P@60Hz. This allows for flexible workspace configurations, from duplicating your screen to extending it across several monitors for increased desktop space.

4.2 For macOS Systems

For macOS users, the docking station supports Mirror Mode and Extend Mode at 4K@60Hz. Please note that macOS does not support triple display extension; it typically mirrors the primary display across external monitors or extends to one external monitor while mirroring the others.

5.1 Immersive 4K Display Support

5.6 Audio Connectivity

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your docking station, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• No Display Output:
  • Ensure all display cables (HDMI/DP) are securely connected to both the docking station and your monitors.
  • Verify that your laptop's USB-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode).
  • Try restarting your laptop and reconnecting the docking station.
  • For Windows, try pressing Ctrl+Shift+Windows+B to reset the graphics driver.
  • Check monitor input sources are set correctly.
• Intermittent Display Blinking/No Signal:
  • Ensure all cables are high-quality and fully seated.
  • Reduce the number of connected displays or lower the resolution/refresh rate to test if it's a bandwidth issue.
  • Ensure the docking station is receiving adequate power from its adapter.
• USB Devices Not Recognized or Slow:
  • Ensure the docking station is properly powered.
  • Try connecting the USB device to a different port on the docking station.
  • Disconnect and reconnect the docking station from your laptop.
  • For optimal performance, use USB 3.0 ports for high-speed devices.
• Ethernet Connection Issues:
  • Check the Ethernet cable connection to both the docking station and your router/modem.
  • Verify network settings on your laptop.
  • Restart your router/modem and laptop.
• Laptop Not Charging via PD Port:
  • Ensure you are using a separate, compatible PD charger connected to the docking station's PD input port, as the included 36W adapter only powers the docking station itself.
  • Verify your laptop supports USB-C Power Delivery.
