Assembly Instructions

The Orbegozo SF 2140 fan can be assembled as a pedestal fan or a desk fan. Follow these steps for initial assembly.

General Assembly Steps:

  1. Base Assembly: Attach the stand pole to the round base. Secure it firmly using the provided screw and washer from underneath the base.
  2. Adjustable Pole: Insert the adjustable upper pole into the lower stand pole. Adjust to desired height and secure with the height adjustment knob.
  3. Motor Housing Attachment: Mount the motor housing onto the top of the adjustable pole. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  4. Rear Guard Installation: Place the rear guard onto the motor housing, aligning the notches. Secure it with the plastic nut provided.
  5. Blade Installation: Slide the fan blades onto the motor shaft. Ensure the blades are correctly oriented and secured with the blade cap.
  6. Front Guard Installation: Attach the front guard to the rear guard, ensuring all clips are securely fastened around the rim. Use the small screw at the bottom to fully secure the guards together.

Note: For desk fan configuration, use only the motor housing and a shorter pole (if provided) or directly attach the motor housing to a smaller base (if applicable, check packaging for specific desk fan components). The SF 2140 is designed as a 2-in-1, implying the pole can be shortened or detached for desk use.

The Orbegozo SF 2140 fan can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

Control Panel Functions:

  • ON/OFF Button: Press to turn the fan on or off.

  • SPEED: Adjusts fan speed.
  • SILENT (Mode): Cycles through Normal, Nature, and Sleep modes.
  • TIMER: Sets the automatic shut-off timer.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning will help maintain the fan's performance and extend its lifespan. Always unplug the fan before cleaning.

  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Guard and Blade Cleaning: To clean the fan blades and inside of the guards, carefully remove the front guard (and blades if necessary, following assembly steps in reverse). Wipe blades and guards with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the fan in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging, to protect it from dust.
