5. Setup and Initial Use

5.1 Charging the Power Bank

  1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the Type-C input port on the power bank.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB wall adapter (not included). For optimal charging speed, use an 18W PD compatible adapter.
  3. The LED indicators will light up to show the charging status. All four LEDs will be solid when fully charged.
  4. A full charge typically takes approximately 9 hours with a suitable adapter.

5.2 Charging Your Devices

  1. Press the Power On/Off button once to activate the power bank.
  2. Connect your device to one of the USB-A output ports (OUT1 or OUT2) or the Type-C port using an appropriate charging cable.
  3. The power bank will automatically begin charging your device. Ensure your device and cable support fast charging protocols (VOOC/Wrap/Dash/PD/QC) to utilize the power bank's full speed capabilities.
  4. You can charge up to three devices simultaneously.

6. LED Indicator Guide

The pTron Dynamo Surge Power Bank features 4 LED lights to indicate the remaining battery capacity:

  • 1 LED lit: 0-25% battery remaining
  • 2 LEDs lit: 25-50% battery remaining
  • 3 LEDs lit: 50-75% battery remaining
  • 4 LEDs lit: 75-100% battery remaining (fully charged)

During charging, the LEDs will blink to indicate the current charging segment, and become solid as each segment is completed.

  • Do not expose the power bank to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or fire.
  • Avoid dropping, hitting, or disassembling the device.
  • Keep the power bank away from water and other liquids.
  • Do not use the power bank if it is damaged or swollen.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Power bank not charging: Ensure the charging cable and wall adapter are working correctly and properly connected. Try a different cable or adapter.
  • Device not charging from power bank: Press the power button to activate the power bank. Ensure your device's charging cable is securely connected to both the power bank and your device. Check if the power bank has sufficient charge.
  • Slow charging: Ensure your device and charging cable support fast charging protocols. Some devices may limit charging speed if they are too hot or cold.
  • LEDs not lighting up: The power bank might be completely discharged. Connect it to a power source for charging.
