5. Setup
5.1 Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully remove the light from its packaging. Inspect the device for any signs of damage during transit. If any damage is found, contact your supplier immediately.
5.2 Mounting the Light
The Moving Head DJ Light offers flexible mounting options:
- Standing Use: Place the light on a stable, flat surface using its integrated 4 feet.
- Overhead Mounting: Attach the provided mounting bracket to the bottom of the light using the screws. Securely fasten the bracket to a truss system or a sturdy stand. Ensure all connections are tight and the light is balanced.

5.3 Power Connection
Connect the supplied power cable to the power input on the rear of the light and then to a suitable AC110V/60HZ power outlet. Ensure the power source is stable and grounded.
6. Operating Modes
The light supports multiple control modes to suit various event requirements.
6.1 DMX512 Control
For advanced control and synchronization with other lighting fixtures, connect the light to a DMX controller using a standard DMX cable. Refer to your DMX controller's manual for specific programming instructions. The light uses 16 DMX channels.
6.2 Master-Slave Mode
In Master-Slave mode, one light acts as the 'Master' and controls other 'Slave' lights. Connect the DMX output of the Master unit to the DMX input of the first Slave unit, and then daisy-chain subsequent Slave units. The Master unit will dictate the lighting program for all connected Slave units.
6.3 Sound Activation Mode
The light can react to music and sound. In Sound Activation mode, the internal microphone detects audio signals and triggers dynamic light patterns and movements in sync with the beat. This mode is ideal for parties without a dedicated DMX controller.
