Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your BAODLON ATM Machine Piggy Bank. This electronic savings safe box is designed to help children learn about money management through interactive play, allowing them to deposit and withdraw real money, track their balance, and set savings goals.

1. Setup

1.1 Battery Installation

The ATM Machine Piggy Bank requires three (3) 1.5-volt "AA" batteries (not included). Locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit, open it, insert the batteries according to the polarity markings, and close the compartment securely.

1.2 Initial Power-On and Password Setup

Upon first power-on, the default password is 0000. To change the password:

1. Insert the provided debit card into the card slot.
2. Enter the default password "0000" using the keypad.
3. Press the "ENTER" button.
4. Press the "ALARM/CODE" button.
5. Enter your new 4-digit password.
6. Press "ENTER" to confirm.
7. Remove the debit card. Your new password is now set.

If you forget your password, remove the batteries for a few seconds and then reinsert them. This will reset the password to the default "0000".

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Depositing Money

To deposit money, first insert your debit card and enter your password to activate the ATM. The current balance will be displayed on the LCD screen.

• Depositing Coins: Insert individual coins into the coin slot. The ATM will automatically recognize and count each coin, updating your balance on the screen.
• Depositing Bills: Select the denomination of the bill you are depositing by pressing the corresponding button ($1, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100) on the keypad. Then, place the bill onto the bill feeder. The ATM will automatically roll the bill into the storage compartment and update your balance.

2.2 Checking Your Balance

After inserting your debit card and entering your password, your current balance will be displayed on the LCD screen. You can also press the "BALANCE" button to view your current savings at any time while the ATM is active.

The LCD screen provides a clear display of your account balance, along with the time and other indicators.

2.3 Withdrawing Money

To withdraw money:

1. Insert your debit card and enter your password.
2. Press the "WITHDRAW" button.
3. Enter the amount you wish to withdraw using the keypad.
4. Press "ENTER". The cash drawer will open, allowing you to retrieve your money.
5. Close the cash drawer. The balance will be automatically updated.

2.4 Setting a Savings Goal

You can set a savings target up to $9999.99. This feature helps track progress towards a specific financial goal.

1. Insert your debit card and enter your password.
2. Press the "TARGET" button.
3. Enter your desired savings goal amount using the keypad.
4. Press "ENTER" to confirm. The ATM will now display how much more is needed to reach your goal.

3. Maintenance

3.1 General Care

To ensure the longevity of your ATM Machine Piggy Bank, keep it clean and dry. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or submerging the unit in water.

3.2 Battery Replacement

When the display dims or the functions become unresponsive, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 1.1. Remember that replacing batteries will reset your password to the default "0000".

4. Troubleshooting

• ATM not powering on: Ensure batteries are correctly installed and are not depleted. Replace with fresh "AA" batteries if necessary.
• Debit card not recognized: Ensure the card is inserted correctly into the slot. If the issue persists, try reinserting the card.
• Incorrect password entry: If you enter the wrong password, the ATM will alert you. Re-enter the correct 4-digit code. If forgotten, reset by removing and reinserting batteries.
• Bills not feeding or recognized: Ensure bills are flat and not crumpled. Insert them smoothly into the bill feeder. Make sure you have pressed the correct denomination button before inserting the bill.
• Coins not recognized: Ensure coins are inserted one at a time into the coin slot.
• Cash drawer not opening: Ensure the correct withdrawal procedure is followed, including entering the amount and pressing "ENTER". If the drawer is stuck, gently check for any obstructions.
• Display issues: If the LCD screen is dim or flickering, replace the batteries.
