3. Camera Overview

The STUOGYUM DC402-AF features a sleek design with intuitive controls. Key components include the lens, flash, power button, shutter button, mode button, and a 2.8-inch IPS display for viewing and navigation.

4. Setup

4.1 Battery and Memory Card Installation & Formatting

Before first use, install the battery and memory card, then format the memory card to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.

1. Open the battery/card compartment cover located on the side or bottom of the camera.
2. Insert a fully charged lithium-ion battery into the battery slot, ensuring correct orientation.
3. Insert the 32GB Micro TF card into the memory card slot until it clicks into place.
4. Close the compartment cover securely.
5. Power on the camera.
6. Press the 'MODE' button three times to enter the 'SETUP' page.
7. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the 'Format' option.
8. Press the 'OK' button to enter the format setting.
9. Select 'Yes' to confirm and complete the memory card formatting.

5. Operating the Camera

5.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button to turn the camera on or off.

Autofocus

To achieve clear and vivid photos, press the shutter button halfway down. The focus frame on the screen will change from yellow to green when focus is achieved. Then, press the shutter button fully to capture the image.
