Operating Instructions
The Moimhear Children's Bunk Bed is designed for sleeping and supervised play. Follow these guidelines for safe operation:
- Using the Beds: Place appropriate size mattresses (max 12 cm thickness) on both the upper (90x200 cm) and lower (140x200 cm) beds. Ensure children sleep within the bed's boundaries.
- Using the Ladder: Always use the integrated ladder for accessing the upper bunk. Ensure children climb facing the ladder and use both hands.
- Using the Slide: The slide is for supervised descent only. Ensure only one child uses the slide at a time and slides feet first. Clear the landing area before use.
- Storage Drawers: The two under-bed drawers can be used to store toys, bedding, or other items. Ensure drawers are fully closed when not in use to prevent tripping hazards.
- Integrated Shelves: The shelves on the ladder unit can be used for books, small toys, or decorative items. Do not place heavy or fragile items on these shelves.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance will extend the life of your bunk bed and ensure continued safety.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the bed frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
- Hardware Check: Periodically (e.g., monthly) check all bolts, screws, and connections to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten as necessary. Loose hardware can compromise the bed's stability and safety.
- Slats: Inspect the wooden slats for any signs of damage or cracking. Replace any damaged slats immediately.
- Structural Integrity: Check the overall structure for any signs of wear, cracks, or instability. If any issues are found, discontinue use and contact customer support.
