- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.

- Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing cycle.

Setup and First Use
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the coffee maker for any damage.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the reusable filter, K-Cup adapter, and drip tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.
- First Brew Cycle (Cleaning Cycle):
- Place an empty mug on the drip tray.
- Fill the water reservoir with clean water up to the 14oz mark. Do not add coffee or a K-Cup.
- Close the lid securely.
- Plug the coffee maker into a standard electrical outlet.
- Press the power/brew button to start a brewing cycle.
- Allow the cycle to complete. Discard the hot water.
- Repeat this cleaning cycle 2-3 times to ensure the internal components are clean.
Operating Instructions
Brewing with K-Cups
- Prepare the Coffee Maker: Ensure the K-Cup adapter is securely placed in the brewing chamber.
- Add Water: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with the desired amount of fresh, cold water (6oz to 14oz). Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
- Insert K-Cup: Place a K-Cup pod into the K-Cup adapter. Close the lid firmly until it clicks.
- Position Mug: Place your mug or travel mug on the drip tray. The drip tray can be adjusted to accommodate mugs up to 7 inches tall.

- Completion: The coffee maker will automatically shut off after the brewing cycle is complete. Carefully remove your hot beverage.
Brewing with Ground Coffee
- Prepare the Coffee Maker: Ensure the reusable ground coffee filter is securely placed in the brewing chamber.
- Add Ground Coffee: Open the lid and add your desired amount of ground coffee to the reusable filter. Do not overfill. Close the lid firmly until it clicks.
- Add Water: Fill the water reservoir with the desired amount of fresh, cold water (6oz to 14oz). Do not exceed the MAX fill line.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and extend the life of your coffee maker.
Daily Cleaning
- Always unplug the coffee maker before cleaning.
- Remove and empty the K-Cup adapter or reusable ground coffee filter after each use. Wash with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. These parts are dishwasher safe (top rack).
- Remove and clean the drip tray and its cover. These parts are dishwasher safe (top rack).
- Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Do not immerse the coffee maker in water or any other liquid.
Descaling (Mineral Deposit Removal)
Mineral deposits (calcium and lime) can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting performance and taste. Descale your coffee maker every 1-3 months, depending on water hardness and frequency of use.
- Prepare Solution: Mix 1 cup of white vinegar with 2 cups of water.
- Fill Reservoir: Pour the vinegar solution into the water reservoir.
- Run Cycle: Place an empty mug on the drip tray. Run a brew cycle without a K-Cup or coffee grounds.
- Soak: After the cycle, let the coffee maker sit for at least 30 minutes with the solution inside.
- Rinse Cycles: Discard the solution. Fill the reservoir with fresh, clean water and run 2-3 full brew cycles to rinse out any remaining vinegar taste.
