The AK820 is a high-performance 75% wired mechanical keyboard designed for both gaming and productivity. It features a gasket-mounted structure, south-facing RGB LEDs, pre-lubricated linear switches, and durable PBT keycaps. The integrated volume knob and custom programmable options enhance user experience.

Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the keyboard and all accessories from the packaging.

  2. Connecting the Keyboard: Connect the detachable USB-C cable to the keyboard's port and the other end to an available USB-A port on your computer.

    The keyboard is plug-and-play and does not require additional drivers for basic functionality.

  3. Adjusting Keyboard Angle: Flip out the adjustable feet on the underside of the keyboard to set your preferred typing angle.

  4. System Compatibility: On the underside of the keyboard, locate the toggle switches to select between Windows (Win) and Mac operating systems for optimal key mapping.

Operating Instructions

Volume Knob Functionality

The multi-functional knob located on the top-right corner of the keyboard allows for quick volume adjustments.

  • Rotate clockwise to increase volume.
  • Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease volume.
  • Press the knob to mute/unmute audio.

RGB Lighting Control

  • FN + |: Cycle through 20 default lighting modes.
  • FN + Up/Down Arrow: Adjust backlight brightness.

Maintenance

  • RGB Lights Not Working:

  • Keys Not Registering:
    • If individual keys are not working, try removing and re-inserting the switch using the switch puller.
