Care and Maintenance
Water Resistance
Your Timex Digital 33mm Watch is water resistant up to 50 meters (164 feet). This means it is suitable for showering, swimming in shallow water, and general water activities. It is not suitable for diving or high-impact water sports. Do not press any buttons while the watch is submerged in water.
Battery Replacement
The watch uses one Lithium Metal battery, model CR2032. When the display dims or the INDIGLO® light weakens, it may be time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.

Cleaning
Clean your watch regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch case or strap.
Troubleshooting
- Display is blank or dim: The battery may need replacement. Refer to the 'Battery Replacement' section.
- Time is incorrect: Re-set the time and date following the 'Setting Time and Date' instructions. Ensure the 12/24-hour format is correctly selected.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though this model typically does not have one). If issues persist, a battery replacement might resolve it, or contact customer support.
- Water inside the watch: If moisture appears inside the watch, have it inspected by a professional immediately to prevent further damage.
