1. Setup and Installation

1.1 Package Contents

1.2 Wiring Diagram for Rear Camera

Follow the diagram below for proper connection of the AHD rear camera. Ensure the reverse control wire (marked as "Reverse" or "Back") from the power cord is connected to the positive pole of your car's reversing light.

1.3 General Installation

This unit is designed for single DIN car stereo slots. Professional installation is recommended. Ensure all cables are securely connected before powering on the device. The screen supports 180-degree rotation for optimal viewing angles.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button (usually located on the front panel or a designated soft button on the screen) to turn the unit on or off. A short press typically mutes or unmutes the audio.

2.2 CarPlay and Android Auto

The car stereo supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing seamless integration with your smartphone. This feature synchronizes phonebook, email, notifications, map navigation, and music applications from your phone to the stereo display. Voice control via your phone's assistant is also supported.

  • Wireless Connection: Ensure your phone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled. Connect your phone via Bluetooth, then open the [CPLink] or [Android Auto] application on the stereo to establish an automatic connection.
  • Wired Connection: Connect your phone to the stereo using a USB cable, then open the [CPLink] or [Android Auto] application.

2.3 Mirror Link

The Mirror Link function allows you to project your mobile phone's screen onto the car stereo's touch screen. This is useful for viewing videos or other content from your phone on a larger display. To use, select the "PhoneLink" application on the stereo.

2.4 Split Screen Function

This feature enables the display of two applications simultaneously on the screen, with independent operation for each side. To activate, click the rectangle icon at the top of the screen, then select a browse page and drag it to either the left or right side of the screen.

2.5 Bluetooth Connectivity

The unit supports Bluetooth for hands-free calls, synchronizing your phone's address book, and streaming music from your mobile device.

  • Pairing: Go to the Bluetooth settings on the stereo and your phone. Search for available devices and select the stereo's name to pair.
  • Hands-Free Calling: Once paired, you can make and receive calls directly through the stereo.
  • Music Playback: Stream audio from your phone's music applications to the car stereo.

2.6 FM/RDS Radio

Tune into your favorite FM radio stations (87.5-108 MHz) and receive RDS (Radio Data System) information where available. The radio function provides access to news, music, weather forecasts, and traffic information.

2.7 GPS Navigation

The stereo has built-in GPS navigation. You can download offline navigation applications directly from the Play Store. When connected to Wi-Fi, online maps can also be used for real-time navigation and traffic updates.

2.8 WiFi Connection

Connect the stereo to a Wi-Fi network to access online content and download applications. This allows you to stream online music, watch videos (e.g., YouTube), and use other internet-dependent apps, similar to a smartphone.

2.9 Steering Wheel Control (SWC)

2.10 Reversing Display (AHD Camera)

When the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear, the stereo automatically displays the feed from the connected AHD waterproof night vision camera. This provides a clear reversing image for enhanced safety.

2.11 180° Rotate Screen

The 10.4-inch screen can be rotated 180 degrees to switch between horizontal and vertical display modes. To adjust the screen orientation, slide down the home page and select the rectangular icon.

2.12 Desktop Themes

The Android radio offers 50 different desktop themes to customize the visual experience. To change themes, long-press on a blank space on the homepage and select your preferred theme from the options.

2.13 EQ Sound Effect

4. Troubleshooting
