2. Safety Information

4. Setup and Installation

3. Assemble the Fan: Attach the downrod (if applicable) to the motor housing. Carefully connect the fan blades to the motor housing according to the instructions.
4. Wire the Fan: Connect the electrical wires from the ceiling to the fan's wiring, ensuring correct polarity (Live, Neutral, Ground). Use wire nuts to secure connections.
5. Mount the Fan: Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it onto the mounting bracket. Secure the fan canopy to cover the wiring and mounting hardware.
6. Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker.

5. Operating Instructions

The Palmela M Ceiling Fan is operated via the included remote control, offering comprehensive control over fan speeds, lighting, and special functions.

Fan Operation:

• Power On/Off: Press the power button on the remote to turn the fan on or off.
• Speed Control: Use the numbered buttons (1-5) to select one of the five available fan speeds. Speed 1 is the lowest and quietest, while Speed 5 provides maximum airflow.
• Summer/Winter Mode: Press the summer/winter button to reverse the blade direction. In summer, blades rotate counter-clockwise to create a cooling breeze. In winter, blades rotate clockwise to circulate warm air trapped near the ceiling, helping to reduce heating costs.
• Breeze Mode: Activate the Breeze mode for a natural, fluctuating airflow that mimics a gentle outdoor breeze.
• Timer Function: Set the fan to turn off automatically after a specified period (e.g., 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours) using the timer buttons.
