5. Setup
5.1 Power Connection
The RBM2500D PRO operates on both 120V and 240V power sources. Ensure the correct power adapter is used and the machine is connected to a suitable electrical outlet.
5.2 Wire Feed Wheel Installation
The machine comes with three types of wire feed wheels. Select the appropriate wheel based on your welding wire type (flux core, solid, or aluminum) and diameter. The knurled type 0.8/0.9 mm wheel for flux core wire is pre-installed.
5.3 MIG Torch Setup
For aluminum welding, install the included Teflon liner in the MIG torch. This prevents wire feeding issues with softer aluminum wire.

6. Operating
6.1 Welding Modes
The RBM2500D PRO offers six distinct welding modes:
- Gas/Solid Wire MIG (GMAW): For welding with shielding gas and solid wire.
- Gasless Flux Core MIG (FCAW): For welding without external shielding gas, using flux-cored wire.
- Stick (MMA): Manual Metal Arc welding using coated electrodes.
- Lift TIG: Tungsten Inert Gas welding with a lift-arc start (TIG torch not included).
- Spot Welding: For quick, localized welds.
- Spool Gun: For welding with a spool gun, especially recommended for aluminum (spool gun not included).

6.2 Synergic and Manual MIG
The Synergic MIG mode simplifies setup by automatically adjusting parameters based on wire size selection. Manual MIG mode allows for fine-tuning of parameters to suit specific welding habits and applications.
6.3 2T/4T Functionality
2T (Two-Touch): Press and hold the gun switch to start welding; release to stop. Ideal for short welds.
4T (Four-Touch): Press and release the gun switch to start welding, allowing continuous operation without holding the switch. Press and release again to stop. Suitable for long welding operations, reducing welder fatigue.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your welding machine.
- Clean the machine regularly to prevent dust and debris buildup, especially around cooling vents.
- Inspect cables and connections for wear or damage before each use. Replace any damaged components immediately.
- Check the MIG torch consumables (contact tip, nozzle, diffuser) and replace them as needed.
- Ensure the wire feed mechanism is clean and free of obstructions.
- Store the machine in a dry, clean environment when not in use.
8. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your welding machine.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No power to the machine | Power cord unplugged, circuit breaker tripped, faulty power switch. | Check power connection, reset breaker, contact support if switch is faulty. |
| Wire not feeding smoothly | Incorrect wire feed tension, clogged liner, wrong wire feed wheel, tangled wire. | Adjust tension, clean/replace liner, ensure correct wheel is installed, untangle wire. |
| Poor weld quality (e.g., excessive spatter, weak penetration) | Incorrect voltage/amperage settings, improper wire speed, wrong gas type/flow, dirty workpiece. | Adjust settings according to material and wire, ensure proper gas flow, clean workpiece thoroughly. |
| Machine overheats and shuts down | Exceeded duty cycle, blocked cooling vents, prolonged heavy use. | Allow machine to cool down, clear vents, reduce continuous welding time. |
