3. Compatibility

This replacement pump and pump holder are exclusively compatible with the Smartoo wireless cat water fountain model PTM-643 (152oz/4.5L capacity). It is not designed for use with other fountain models or brands.

4. Setup

To install the replacement pump, ensure the main control module is removed from the fountain and the old pump is disconnected. Connect the new pump to the main control module, then install the pump holder and reassemble the module into the fountain.

5. Operating the Fountain with the New Pump

The Smartoo PTM-643 Wireless Cat Water Fountain offers three operating modes:

• Sensing Mode: Water runs when pets approach.
• Intermittent Mode: Water runs every 10 minutes for 15 seconds.
• Constant Mode: Water flows continuously.

Select your preferred mode using the controls on the main control module. The pump operates quietly, even at low water levels.

6. Maintenance

To extend the service life of the pump and ensure optimal performance, clean the pump every 1-2 weeks. Regular cleaning prevents mineral buildup and debris from affecting pump function.

Cleaning Instructions:

1. Turn off the fountain and unplug the main control module.
2. Remove the main control module from the fountain.
3. Unplug the pump from the main control module.
4. Carefully remove the pump cover, pump sponge, impeller cover, and impeller.
5. Clean all pump parts thoroughly with the provided cleaning brush and water.
6. Reassemble the pump components in reverse order.
