Assembly Guide

Assembly is straightforward and typically takes about 30 minutes. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the star base. Push firmly until they click into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the star base.
3. Attach Mechanism Plate to Seat: Align the mechanism plate with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat. Secure with the provided screws and Allen wrench.
4. Attach Backrest to Seat: Align the backrest with the mounting points on the seat cushion assembly. Secure with screws.
5. Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the center hole of the mechanism plate aligns with the top of the gas lift. Press down firmly to secure.

Tip: It is recommended to assemble the chair on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.

Operating Instructions

Height Adjustment

To adjust the chair's height (4-inch range):

• To raise: While seated, lift the lever located on the right side of the chair. The chair will rise. Release the lever at the desired height.
• To lower: While seated, lift the lever located on the right side of the chair and apply slight pressure downwards. The chair will lower. Release the lever at the desired height.

Recline and Tilt Lock

The chair features a 90-135 degree tilt lock mechanism:

• To recline: Pull out the lever on the left side of the chair to allow the backrest to recline.
• To lock recline: Push the lever back in at your desired recline angle to lock the position.
• Adjusting Tilt Tension: Rotate the round knob located underneath the seat (usually at the front) clockwise to increase tilt tension (harder to recline) or counter-clockwise to decrease tension (easier to recline).

Adjustable Lumbar Support

The chair includes a 2-inch adjustable lumbar support for personalized back comfort:

• Locate the lumbar support mechanism on the back of the chair.
• Gently push or pull the lumbar support pad up or down to find the position that best supports your lower back.

Flip-Up Armrests

The convenient flip-up armrests offer flexibility and space-saving options:

• To raise the armrests: Simply lift them upwards until they lock into a vertical position. This allows the chair to be pushed closer under a desk or save space.
• To lower the armrests: Gently pull them downwards until they return to the horizontal position.
