Setup

1. Power Supply

The feeder can be powered by the included AC adapter or by 3 D-size batteries (not included) for backup. It is recommended to use both for uninterrupted operation during power outages.

• Connect the power adapter to the feeder's power port and plug it into a wall outlet.
• For battery backup, open the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit and insert 3 D-size batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

2. Filling the Food Tank

• Open the lid of the food reservoir.
• Pour dry kibble into the reservoir. Ensure the kibble size is between 2mm and 10mm.
• Close the lid securely to maintain food freshness.

3. Installing the Desiccant Bag

The desiccant bag helps keep the food fresh and dry.

• Locate the desiccant compartment under the lid of the food reservoir.
• Place the desiccant bag into the compartment.
• Close the compartment cover firmly. Replace the desiccant bag periodically for optimal freshness.

4. Attaching the Food Bowl

Slide the food bowl into the designated slot at the front base of the feeder until it clicks into place.

Operating Instructions

The control panel features a display and several buttons for programming. Ensure the feeder is unlocked before making any adjustments.

1. Unlocking the Feeder

Press and hold the Down (▼) button for 3 seconds to unlock the control panel. The lock icon on the display will disappear.

2. Setting the Current Time

• With the feeder unlocked, press the SET button once. The hour digit will flash.
• Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) buttons to adjust the hour.
• Press SET again to move to the minute digit and adjust it.
• Press SET to confirm the time.

3. Programming Feeding Schedules

You can program up to 6 meals per day, with 1 to 20 portions per meal.

• After setting the time, press SET to enter the meal programming mode (Meal 1 will flash).
• Use Up (▲) and Down (▼) to set the desired feeding time for Meal 1. Press SET.
• The portion number will flash. Use Up (▲) and Down (▼) to set the number of portions (1-20) for Meal 1. Press SET.
• Repeat steps for Meal 2 through Meal 6 if desired. If you do not wish to set all 6 meals, simply press SET to skip to the next meal setting or exit programming.
• After setting all desired meals, press and hold SET for 3 seconds to save the settings and exit.

4. Voice Recording

You can record a 10-second voice message that will play during each scheduled feeding.

• With the feeder unlocked, press and hold the Record (microphone icon) button for 3 seconds until the display shows 'REC'.
• Speak your message clearly into the microphone for up to 10 seconds.
• Release the Record button to save the message. To test the recording, briefly press the Record button.

5. Manual Feeding

To dispense food immediately, briefly press the Up (▲) button. Each press will dispense one portion.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and extends the life of your feeder.

• Unplug the feeder before cleaning.
• The food tank, lid, and food bowl are detachable for easy cleaning. These parts can be hand-washed with mild soap and water.
• Ensure all washed parts are completely dry before reassembling.
• IMPORTANT: Do not wash or immerse the main base unit (containing the control panel and electronics) in water. Wipe the base unit with a clean, damp cloth if necessary.
