4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the headset. You can charge it using the included charging base or directly via the Type-C charging cable. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.

• Using Charging Base: Connect the charging cable to the base and a power source. Place the headset on the base, ensuring the charging contacts align. The indicator light on the base will show charging status.
• Direct Charging: Connect the Type-C cable directly to the headset's charging port and a power source.

4.2 Connecting via Bluetooth

The headset uses Bluetooth V5.0 for stable wireless connection.

1. Ensure the headset is powered on and in pairing mode (indicator light flashes red and blue).
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "BT-68" from the list of found devices to pair.
4. Once connected, the indicator light on the headset will turn solid blue.

4.3 Connecting via USB Dongle

For devices without built-in Bluetooth or for enhanced stability, use the included USB dongle.

1. Plug the USB dongle into an available USB-A port on your computer or laptop.
2. Power on the headset. It will automatically attempt to connect to the dongle.
3. Once connected, the headset will be recognized as an audio device on your computer.

4.4 Dual Connection

The headset supports dual connection, allowing you to connect to two devices simultaneously (e.g., a computer via dongle and a smartphone via Bluetooth). The headset will intelligently switch between devices for incoming calls or active audio.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the multi-functional button until the indicator light flashes.
• Power Off: Press and hold the multi-functional button until the indicator light turns off.

5.2 Call Management

• Answer/End Call: Press the multi-functional button once.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the multi-functional button for 2 seconds.
• Mute/Unmute Microphone: Press the dedicated mute button located on the microphone boom. (Note: Mute function works only during an active call or meeting.)

5.3 Volume Control

Adjust the volume using the volume control buttons on the headset. Press '+' to increase volume and '-' to decrease volume.

5.4 Microphone Adjustment

The microphone boom is 270° rotatable, allowing you to position it on either the right or left side for optimal voice pickup. Adjust its position for best clarity during calls.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the headset. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Storage: When not in use, store the headset on its charging base or in the provided soft pouch to protect it from dust and damage.
• Battery Care: Avoid exposing the headset to extreme temperatures. For long-term storage, charge the battery to about 50% every few months.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Vonztek Wireless Headset, try the following steps:

• No Power: Ensure the headset is fully charged. Check the charging cable and power source.
• Cannot Pair: Ensure the headset is in pairing mode. Turn off and on your device's Bluetooth. Clear previous Bluetooth connections on your device.
• No Audio/Poor Audio Quality: Check the volume levels on both the headset and your connected device. Ensure the headset is selected as the default audio input/output device in your computer's sound settings.
• Microphone Not Working: Ensure the microphone is not muted. Check microphone settings on your connected device.
• Intermittent Connection: Ensure the headset is within the Bluetooth range (up to 33 feet). Reduce interference from other wireless devices.
