Introduction
The ASUS TUF Gaming AX6000 WiFi 6 Router is engineered to provide stable and fast network connections, especially in environments with many connected devices. Setup Guide
1. Physical Connection
- Connect the Antennas: Carefully screw all six external antennas onto their respective connectors on the router. Ensure they are finger-tight.
- Connect to Power: Plug the power adapter into the router's DC-in port and then into a power outlet.
- Connect to Modem: Connect one end of the provided RJ-45 cable to the WAN port (blue) on the router and the other end to your modem's LAN port.
- Connect Devices (Optional): For wired connections, connect your computer or gaming console to any of the LAN ports (yellow/grey) on the router using an Ethernet cable.

2. Initial Configuration
- Power On: Turn on the router by pressing the power button. Wait for the indicator lights to stabilize.
- Connect to Router's Wi-Fi: On your computer or mobile device, connect to the default Wi-Fi network name (SSID) printed on the label on the bottom of the router. No password is required for the initial connection.
- Access Web Interface: Open a web browser and navigate to http://router.asus.com or http://192.168.50.1.
- Follow Setup Wizard: The ASUS setup wizard will guide you through creating a new administrator username and password, setting up your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password, and configuring your internet connection.

The router includes a dedicated gaming port to prioritize traffic for connected gaming devices, ensuring a smooth, low-latency experience. Open NAT simplifies port forwarding in just three steps, eliminating complex manual configurations.

Dual 2.5 Gbps Ports

Extendable Router with AiMesh
Create a flexible, seamless whole-home mesh network by connecting the TUF-AX6000 with other AiMesh-compatible ASUS routers. This extends Wi-Fi coverage and eliminates dead zones.
