4. Water Resistance Guidelines

This KXAITO 6256 watch is water-resistant up to 5 ATM (50 meters). This means it is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water. However, it is not suitable for swimming, diving, or prolonged water activities. To maintain water resistance, do not press any buttons while the watch is submerged in water.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning

Wipe the watch case and strap regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying thoroughly. Avoid using chemical cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the watch materials.

5.2. Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by a battery. When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Consider professional battery replacement.
  • Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though not a standard feature for this model). If the issue persists, a battery replacement might be needed, or there could be an internal malfunction.
  • Time is incorrect: Re-set the time and date following the instructions in Section 3.1. If the time consistently loses accuracy, the battery may be weak or the movement may require service.
  • Water inside the watch: If moisture appears inside the watch, stop using it immediately and seek professional service. This indicates a breach in the water resistance.
