1. Introduction

3. Setup Guide

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Connecting to a Vehicle

  1. Locate the vehicle's OBDII port, typically under the dashboard on the driver's side.
  2. Connect the OBDII diagnostic cable to the vehicle's OBDII port and to the scanner.
  3. Turn the vehicle's ignition to the 'ON' position (engine off).
  4. The scanner will automatically establish communication with the vehicle.

4.2 AutoVIN Feature

The AutoVIN feature automatically identifies the vehicle's make, model, and year, streamlining the diagnostic process. This allows you to proceed directly to diagnostics without manual input.

4.3 Full System Diagnostic

This function allows for comprehensive scanning of all available electronic control modules (ECUs) in the vehicle. It can read and clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), view live data streams, retrieve freeze-frame data, and read ECU information.

4.4 Bi-Directional Control (Active Test)

Perform active tests to control various vehicle components and systems directly from the scanner. This includes testing components such as windows, rear mirrors, wipers, horn, injectors, EGR valves, and A/C systems. This function is crucial for verifying component functionality and pinpointing issues.

4.5 ECU Coding

ECU Coding allows for programmable module installation and personalization of car settings. This includes refreshing hidden functions, disabling annoying functions, customizing OE-settings, and component matching after repairs or replacements.

4.6 Full OBD2 Functions

The scanner supports all 10 OBD2 test modes for all OBD-II compliant vehicles manufactured from 1996 onwards. These functions include:

  • Read Codes: Displays Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and their descriptions.
  • Erase Codes: Clears DTCs from the vehicle's computer.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Device Not Powering On

  • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the USB charging cable.
  • If the device still does not power on, contact customer support.

6.2 Communication Error with Vehicle

  • Verify that the OBDII cable is securely connected to both the scanner and the vehicle's OBDII port.
  • Ensure the vehicle's ignition is in the 'ON' position (engine off).
