3. Setup Guide

3.1 Initial Power On

Press and hold the power button located on the side of the device until the screen illuminates. The device will boot up to the main interface.

3.2 Wi-Fi Connection

1. From the main screen, tap on 'Settings'.
2. Select 'Wi-Fi' and turn it on.
3. Choose your desired Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the password if prompted.
4. Once connected, the device will automatically activate. No manual account sign-up is required for initial use.

3.3 Software Updates

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Connecting to a Vehicle

1. Locate the vehicle's OBDII port, typically under the dashboard on the driver's side.
2. Connect the OBDII diagnostic cable to the vehicle's OBDII port and to the scanner.
3. Turn the vehicle's ignition to the 'ON' position (engine off).
4. The scanner will automatically establish communication with the vehicle.

4.2 AutoVIN Feature

The AutoVIN feature automatically identifies the vehicle's make, model, and year, streamlining the diagnostic process. This allows you to proceed directly to diagnostics without manual input.

4.3 Full System Diagnostic

This function allows for comprehensive scanning of all available electronic control modules (ECUs) in the vehicle. It can read and clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), view live data streams, retrieve freeze-frame data, and read ECU information.

4.4 Bi-Directional Control (Active Test)

Perform active tests to control various vehicle components and systems directly from the scanner. This includes testing components such as windows, rear mirrors, wipers, horn, injectors, EGR valves, and A/C systems. 4.5 ECU Coding

4.6 Full OBD2 Functions

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: Store the scanner in its protective case in a cool, dry place when not in use.
• Battery: Charge the device regularly to maintain battery health. Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.
• Software Updates: Regularly connect to Wi-Fi and perform software updates to ensure optimal performance and access to the latest features and vehicle data.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Device Not Powering On

• Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the USB charging cable.
• If the device still does not power on, contact customer support.

6.2 Communication Error with Vehicle

• Verify that the OBDII cable is securely connected to both the scanner and the vehicle's OBDII port.
• Ensure the vehicle's ignition is in the 'ON' position (engine off).
• Check if the vehicle's battery voltage is sufficient.
• Try connecting to a different vehicle to rule out a vehicle-specific issue.

6.3 Wi-Fi Connection Issues

• Ensure your Wi-Fi network is active and within range.
• Verify the Wi-Fi password is entered correctly.
• Restart the scanner and your Wi-Fi router.

6.4 Inaccurate Readings or Functions Not Working

• Ensure the scanner's software is up to date.
• Verify that the vehicle information (make, model, year) is correctly identified by the AutoVIN feature or manually entered.
